“Maybe a little old fashioned but much better than the Hotels that are part of a group”
We have stayed regularly for the past few years. Close to AP7 for our return to France. Friendly & helpful staff who are well trained in their duties.

“Very good place near Spanish/French border - superb breakfast”
Very clean rooms, friendly staff, and superb breakfast. We had a standard room; the next time we will take a more luxurious room in order to see whether the beds are somewhat better. The hotel has been very tastefully renovated and decorated. We enjoyed the stay very much.

“Great value accomodation with *** restaurant”
Unfussy accommodation, clean, quiet and warm. The lift provides access for those with mobility issues. Our room's small balcony in gave countryside views, accessed by French doors. An excellent breakfast is available in the coffee shop. The EV charger in front of the hotel may be branded Porsche but it works fine for Teslas and Nissan Leafs. There are Tesla branded chargers in the garage beneath for a modest parking fee (limited spaces). There are some covered parking spaces which would be appreciated in warmer weather. The staff are ever welcoming as we have found on several.previous stays. There is an impressive variety of wines and culinary items on display in the lobby. The hotel is home to the gastronomic restaurant El Motel, whose name belies its elevated menu. They have a mind-boggling wine list and vintage spirits.
