Hostal La Barretina is set 5 minutes’ walk from Figueres’ famous Dalí Museum and 100 metres from Bosc Park. This guest house features simple rooms with balconies and flat-screen TVs. Location, the owners are quite lovely, courteous, even provided a hair drier as there was not one in the room. Exceptional value and fortunate to be there for the festival of bunyous. Lots of music, food and generally great times.

The beds are very comfortable and come with up to four pillows, which were very comfortable to sleep on. Additionally, there are more blankets and the whole room was quite spacious and clean. You can tell there was a lot of effort put into a presentable and comfortable stay.

“A great place to stay for a visit to Figueres.”
The hosts, Luis and Maria Antonia were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. They made us feel like part of the family. It is very good value compared to other places that we have stayed in recently It is situated in a great location; a 5 minute walk from the Dali museum and from La Rambla.

“Great value stay and wonderful hospitality.”
La Barretina is run by a couple who have hospitality in their bones. What it lacks in size of rooms or luxury is made up by their willingness to connect and provide assistance. They also have a range of the best herbal teas available. Unusual for Spain.

Louis was lovely and friendly. Air-conditioning worked really well and even needed to be turned down a bit during super hot day. Great central location near Dali Museum and main area. We had tapas down stairs for dinner which was nice, I liked the local Otos Potato fritters best.
