A beautiful Riad in an excellent location! Clean, quiet, with delicious breakfasts. But the absolute best part was the staff. The service was top-notch from day one, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The guys at the reception created such a warm, family atmosphere 🙂

“Exceptional stay with beautifully kind staff”

The Riad Green House was totally exceptional. The inner courtyard was amazing, beautifully decorated in a typically traditional Moroccan style and some amazing old-fashioned black and white photos and other pictures that were fascinating. As I ate my breakfast each morning in the courtyard I had to stop myself taking photos or focussing on another picture that I hadn't previously noticed - I didn't want my coffee to get cold! My own room was also similarly decorated, and was comfortable, had a large bed and was clean. Unlike the two other riads I had stayed at in my journey previously, the TV worked and had various international languages - this was appreciated for a couple of hours one afternoon when I had succumbed to the outdoor heat. The air conditioning in my room worked perfectly. The rooftop view was exceptional with a view of (I think) the Marinid Tombs on the hill beyond. However the very best part of my stay was the staff. All the staff were kind but in the 3 nights I stayed Mohammed became a wise, kind and helpful friend. Not only did he help me to get to know Fes, offered me water when I stepped in from the heat, but best of all when we had the opportunity we put the world to rights together like old friends. He is an exceptional young man with a genuine heart of gold who made a big difference in helping my enjoy my time in Fes - thank you.

Quiet location in the heart of the Medina, close to the blue gate. 5 mins walk from closest taxi drop off area. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Mohammed.

Staff Clean Location Breakfast Mohamed, Mehdi, and all the young staff made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. They helped us book a private medina tour with Ismael, which we enjoyed so much. They offered us other tours, educated us about the history of the city. They have great sense of humor. Mohamed told us about some hidden gems in the medina. He will be a great guide one day. They recommended great restaurants. They booked our transfer to chefchaouen, they helped booking a porter for our 5 bags. They are extremely kind.

Nice riad, perfect location and great food. Although the best about this riad is the people running it, everyone was amazing, with a smile and very helpful for everything we needed. Really words are not enough to describe the kindness of the people. Afaik riads used to be homes for families and I think I got that feeling in this one.

Mohammed was an exceptional host - truly a gem. He took so much time to share his knowledge of Fes and recommend the best places to visit. He even called the tour company we had booked with to confirm all the details. When we had to leave very early in the morning, he went above and beyond by preparing a packed breakfast for us and taking us all the way to the pickup spot to make sure we found it without any issues. His kindness, generosity, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better host!

“Excellent accommodation in the heart of Fes”

The staff were really outstanding and so so helpful, from helping with bags to local knowledge and advice. Particular shout out to Mehdi who introduced us to a map App that didn't need a mobile signal or wifi. Without that I think we would have got very lost! The building was also impressive, and steeped in history.

Mehdi was super. Very helpful and extremely kind. Our cooking class was a highlight of our Trip.

“A hidden gem in the heart of Fez Medina; don’t be fooled by the narrow alleyway leading to it.”

The staff are simply exceptional, they are the best we encountered across 8 Moroccan cities. Mehdi went above and beyond from the very first moment, waiting at the bus station at 4am when we arrived on the overnight bus from Merzouga. We were given a room immediately to rest while our booked room was prepared. The next morning, Mehdi and his colleague sat with us, provided a detailed map and personally recommended every must-see in Fez. We explored the entire city confidently without a single paid tour guide. They made us feel completely safe, welcome and at home. The riad itself is beautiful with a stunning tiled courtyard, ornate painted ceilings, carved wooden furnishings and a gorgeous rooftop terrace. Rooms are charming and breakfast is excellent. Perfectly located inside the Medina with Al Attarine Madrasa, Al Qarawiyyin University, Bab Bou Jeloud and the Chouara Tannery are all within easy walking distance. Mehdi and his team made Fez magical. Highly recommended.

“A Stay We Didn’t Want to Leave”

Our stay at Greenhouse Riad in Fès was simply wonderful! The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. The location is perfect, right near all the shops, lovely restaurants, and cafés. The Riad itself was a beautiful, authentic gem. We absolutely fell in love with the wonderful staff, and my almost 12 year-old daughter loved it as well. It was truly an unforgettable experience! I would come back to this Riad again without hesitation, and would absolutely recommend it to any travelers I know. It was that special 🫶🏼

Its a beautiful riad in Fes and the best riad that i stayed in Morocco, especially the staff in there, food, room everything is superb. Mohammed was very good and helpful in recommending good food, places and all staffs were really good and helpful.

The view from the terasse is beautiful. The riad was well located near the blue gate. We would highly recommend this place to families.

Our stay at Riad Green House was truly unforgettable. From the very first moment, they made us feel completely at home. The welcome was warm and genuine; the team sat down with us to explain the city, share tourism tips, offer help in case we got lost, and even personally took us to places when we had trouble figuring out how to get there. They were always attentive and sincerely caring. A special thank you to Mehdi and both Mohameds, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their flexibility and dedication truly set this place apart. The décor is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious and very typical of the region. I especially loved how every afternoon, when we returned, they welcomed us with tea and took the time to sit and chat, asking about our day and whether they could help with anything else. I travel constantly, and I have rarely felt so at home in a hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
