Dar Kirami and Abdel were terrific! The riad is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Abdel made sure we were comfortable, gave us lots of recommendations and served a delicious breakfast (even leaving us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave early). It is well located near Bab Guissa and about a 5-10 minute walk to the busy areas of the medina.

Top Location and a True gem of a host! You could feel every second how much in love he is with his place and project. And he helped us with google maps pins all around the Medina, practical advice about all sorts of things around fez and even packed us a book of cookies as good bye. We felt amazingly welcome!

“Exceptionally renovated traditional riad”

Having travelled across Morocco for 2 weeks, this was one of the most exceptional riads we stayed at. The owner renovated it with love and respect for historical spirit, so it felt almost like sleeping in a monument, without sacrificing any of the usual comforts. Abdul was super organized and took great care of us throughout the whole stay, recommending activities and places to visit. We were a bit worried about staying so close to the maze of medina alleys, but in the end it was easy to find the accommodation, and it was a great location for the further ventures into the old city.

A beautiful house. We arrived in this big city and felt the hospitality in this Riad from the first moment. Abdoul took care about us in so many ways. He answers every question you have. He tried to help us in any wish we had. Since he grew up in Fès, he knows every spot and with this kowledge he helps his guests - friendly, patient, charming. The Riad is perfectly placed in the city. A view minutes to walk to the center of the souks, a view minutes to walk to gate Bab Guissa to take a taxi for some view Dirhams.

The riad was absolutely gorgeous - beautifully and thoughtfully decorated inside to reflect Fes ! The room was also very comfortable. The host could not have been kinder - he guided me through the Medina to the riad when I arrived in Fes and gave many shopping/sightseeing/restaurant recommendations that were great. Was a very friendly person whom made me feel welcomed. The taxi service to the station booked through him was also great. Highly recommend!!

At the beginning of our stay, he took the time to sit down with us, explain the culture of Fes, and help us put together a personalized plan for our day in the city. He asked about our interests and upcoming destinations and shared invaluable insider tips that we would never have found on our own. His recommendations made our entire trip even more memorable and authentic. What impressed us just as much was the care he showed even after our stay. He personally reached out to ask whether we had arrived safely and if everything was okay — a gesture that truly reflects his genuine kindness and dedication to his guests. The story behind the Riad itself is incredibly inspiring. Knowing that he has worked on it largely himself, investing so much time, love, and attention to detail, makes the place even more special. Wonderful host- Abdu was proactive, warm, kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay. He gave us recommendations of what to see in the city. He arranged us a taxi with his brother from the bus station. He recommended a very nice restaurant for dinner and made us a breakfast to go when we were leaving early in the morning. He was full of genuine passion and enthusiasm for running his riad. Every room had a different theme and is beautifully decorated. It had air con/heating and the WiFi is good. Breakfast was very tasty. The beds were very comfortable!

The location was good- inside the Medina but not in a high traffic area. The staff was helpful in letting guests know about interesting places to visit and how to get around.

We had a fantastic stay at Dar Kirami. Abdel’s friendly welcome and hospitality made our 3 days in Fes very enjoyable. His passion for his beautifully restored family Riad, and home city, was an amazing introduction to Fes. The Riad was authentically decorated, each room with a unique theme and locally crafted furniture and ornate features. It was in incredible place and felt like staying in a museum but with a relaxed friendly vibe. The rooms and shared areas were very clean, comfortable and the ideal place to rest after exploring the medina and beyond. The location is a very short walk from the souks but is quiet, and close the city walls for access to taxis. We were served really delicious Moroccan breakfasts and given helpful advice on what to see, where to eat and where to shop for quality items. Abdel even helped us with planning our onward journey after our booked tour was cancelled. He was available at any time and nothing was a trouble. Top class service! I would highly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy an authentic trip to the ancient city, warm Moroccan hospitality, and friendly local tips.

Owner is extremely helpful and communicative. The location is very central. The interior of the building is absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast is quite nice as well. It's not a Michelin star restaurant, but it is good and it keeps you from wasting the morning looking for food. You can get right to exploring. The owner also gives you a walking guide for the day which is really nice.

Host was extremely knowledgeable & arranged an amazing site seeing tour. Gave us a suggested itinerary on Google maps. Amazing breakfast Lovely clean & comfortable place to stay, in a convenient location. Lovely roof terrace to chill out on.

“Little gem in Fez medina”

Without a doubt, this is the best Riad I've ever stayed in. This little gem was such a highlight during our time in Fez. It felt like staying in an art museum, yet also like being in a family member's home where every detail is taken care of. Clean, beautiful, and incredibly cozy. The host deserves a special mention too—so kind and helpful, assisting us greatly in planning our stay in Fez. How lucky we were! Breakfast was special as well—an amazing way to start the day in this wonderful city. No doubt, I'd love to return and would recommend it to anyone! 10/10
