“Great experience in Riad at Fes”

The staff was super helpful, kind and friendly. They were welcoming and they made us feel at home from our arrival.

The Riad Is beautiful with lots of stairs and decorations, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful with everything. We also had dinner there, the food is homemade and delicious.

This riad is perfect for history and authencity lovers, at first it felt like a museum. Owners were very hospitable, the atmosphere was like living in one big family. Top balcony of riad was the main spot for spending cold evenings and meeting other travelers, living in riad. Also big thanks to the owners for giving us truthworthy recommendations and contacts, which made our trip in Fes even better.

“Terrible stay. The room was dirty, the bathroom wasn’t private, and the staff was rude.”

It was a terrible experience. We booked a room for three nights with a private bathroom for three people, but I saw the lady who works in the kitchen using our bathroom. This means our bathroom was not private at all. The room was cold. The blankets and towels were dirty. The toilet was not clean and smelled very bad — we could smell it every time we opened the door. We woke up early and went to the rooftop in the morning and then got complaints from the host, even though there were no rules about rooftop hours or waking up early. The rooms also do not block noise well. We only had breakfast on the last day. For the first two days we almost had no breakfast, even though we asked the staff in advance. On the first day we went exactly at 9:00, but the woman in the kitchen didn’t understand what “breakfast” meant. We had to wait for someone to translate, and by then it was too late to have breakfast comfortably. On the second day, the host made us anxious because we asked again for breakfast at 9:00, but he told us it was impossible. The man at the reception was very unfriendly and argued with customers. We booked tours every day and asked if we could have breakfast earlier or take a breakfast box, but he was very impolite and said he could give us some money to eat outside instead of preparing breakfast at 9:00 as described. This was one of the worst hospitality experiences we have ever had.

The building is FANTASTIC, such an amazing Central courtyard, and our room was absolutely stunning, the rooftop terrace also, many hours spent overlooking the Medina and hearing the muasins from there was a mystical experience, Amine was a very attentive host, very much enjoyed it.

Entry way was narrow and dark. Very hard to find . We felt alittle scared and isolated. Going up the stairs was tight. Unclean bathroom. Musty smell in window less room.

This Riad was really nice. Our host was the best guy ever to begin with. Breakfast was really tasty and cooked on the spot just for us. The terrasse has an amazing view of the Medina.

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, nice welcome and godbye, authentic riad with nice atmosphere. Standard ia similar to other cheap riads in Morroco.

“Amazing, calm, and clean riad!”

The location was in an amzing location. Very close to most monuments and attractions. The breakfast included was a typical Moroccan breakfast and very filling. We also ordered dinner as we used to get tired after long days outside. The tajine was amazing but I must put pressure on the beautiful and delicious couscous. The portions are really big, but definitely a must try. The stuff members are amazing, they are ready to help and very welcoming. If you find any issue during your stay do not hesitate to ask them for help. I would also suggest you to go to the terrace for dinner and breakfast as the weather and the vibes are immaculate!
