Everything was perfect. Mr. Moufid is very welcoming and kind he goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The place is very calm, so you’ll sleep well. The breakfast is so delicious. It’s also very safe place . For women traveling alone, I highly recommend this riad.

The host was wonderful - he met me at my taxi and walked me to the hotel. We had tea and he explained everything, and we discussed breakfast. He told me how to understand the road signs walking around, etc, and said he could arrange tours, etc. Breakfast the next day was fine, a bit too much food for me though (lots of breads). I ended up moving to another hotel, but the host here was really wonderful.

Staff were very good. Moufid was very helpful and resourceful.

“Stay in Fes”

We stayed in Fez, at Palais Chahd Luxury, where Moufid gave us the warmest welcome we could have imagined. An absolutely stunning riad, beautiful and perfect for getting around the city comfortably. The food and breakfast were delicious. We also booked a private tour with BestPlacesInMorocco through the hotel, which allowed us to discover Fez in a more relaxed and complete way. Highly recommended!

“Excellent place to explore Fes”

The Riad is inside of the old Medina but close enough to a street so that drop-off with a taxi is easy and suitcases do not have to be transported very far by foot. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. There was a rooftop withe lounge chairs and a nice view. However, the most special feature of the Riad was the host Moufid. He was going out of his way to make our stay as pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He recommended a very knowledgable tour guide and excellent restaurants and was always reachable by text with any questions. But most of all he shared a lot of tips for how to have the best experience. It pays off to follow his advice! We would go back anytime and highly recommend it.

A truly magical place: From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the beauty and calm of this riad. The architecture, the atmosphere, the details, everything speaks of tradition, care and elegance. Breathtaking courtyard: The central patio with its deep blue illuminated pool, surrounded by palm trees and mosaic tiles, creates a peaceful and luxurious ambiance. Sitting there in the evening felt like living inside a dream. Authentic Moroccan design: Every element, from carved wooden doors to handmade lamps, reflects the rich cultural heritage of Morocco, curated with taste and refinement. Impeccable hospitality: Moufit, the host, was simply amazing. Warm, kind, always helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive. He made our stay feel truly special and personal. Comfort and cleanliness: Our room was spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedding was excellent, and everything was perfectly clean. Delicious breakfast: Every morning we were served a generous and tasty breakfast, in a quiet and cozy dining area. Great coffee, fresh bread, local specialties, perfect to start the day. Excellent location: Ideally situated in the medina, yet incredibly quiet and relaxing once inside. A real hidden gem. We stayed for only two nights and wished we had booked more. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fes.

Location was good. Breakfast was average. For a 5 star rating i would have expected some bottle water in the room. We were charged for the water.

We had a lovely few days in Fès and it was made better by Moufid and his incredible hospitality. The hotel was impressive and clean and Moufid couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much and he was always on hand if we had questions about the area.

“Straight out of a fairytale”

Beautiful historic house, unassuming from the outside, stunning inside, a 5 meter high ceiling in our bedroom, oasis of calm. The singing of a canary, as a sound backdrop, infinitely preferable to hotel music. Loved the little bird. Fabulous staff, way above duty. In the medina but minutes from an easily accessible main road.

Property was good and in a good location but the superstar is definitely Moufid. He helped us organise tour guides on short notice, great recommendations for food and served a filling breakfast. Fantastic

“Fantastic”

If I could give an 10+ I would. The host Moufir is fantastic. He is so helpfull with everything. Nothing is to must. He arranged a privateguide for us to see the medina and walked with us to the restaurant. The guide is Moundir and raised up in the medina so he knows a lot. I would certainly go to this accomodation again and that is because of the host

Location and accommodation was fantastic for the price paid! Really clean and spacious room, on a Riad located 5 mins walking from Medina! Muffid was a brilliant host, really helpful and friendly. He showed us how great maroccan hospitality can be. Really honest during all our conversations and able to give us loads of information about things to do in Fes, from a local's perspective. We'll definitely go back!
