“Amazing Medina location in original Riad. Truly amazing experience! A little cold in Winter.”

Breakfast was lovely and location right in the middle of the Medina was interesting. Nadia was very welcoming with very good English. Stayed in the downstairs room (but no ensuite) because stairs to next level rooms were treacherous! Steep and tiled! Also those to the terrace. But building is over 200 years old so expected this.

It was an unforgettable experience, staying in a Riad was magical. The ambiance and charm of the place captivated us from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the friendly host and staff. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we could only enjoy one night there, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Overall, we loved our time at Dar Nineta and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of the Medina Fes.

“Like a queen in a castle”

The Dar is just a few min from Blue Gate and in a good location. It has wonderful character and although I was staying there alone and way to the Dar can be a bit uncomfortable I felt very safe. Also people from next door Riad were really friendly and always said hello and asked if I am on and need anything. Nada (owner) was out of town but in touch with me all the time to make sure I am safe and comfortable and I have everything what I need. When she arrived she came to meet me and brought me small present which I appreciate it:) There was an issue with toilet but Nada called someone immediately. It is not a luxury accompaniment but very old, wonderful family house where you can feel history from every item. Lots of information for guests which I have found super helpful. I would definitely come back!

“We were glad ,that we chose this place”

We had a wonderful holiday, a real Moroccan house with large rooms, very comfortable beds, always hot water in the bathrooms, delicious breakfasts served to us by the lovely Alawow were also local. The facility is located in a great area, in the middle of the old medina, we had a very good tourist office nearby , it is close and straight to the Blue Gate, from where we went on trips. The landlady is a very nice person, she speaks good English, she is always helpful, we parted with her as with a new friend. We recommend this place.

We had a very pleasent stay at Nadia’s place. We had the whole house for ourselfs and it was amazing. There is a really nice view from terrace, a lot of space and really good breakfasts. You can’t park directly near the house, there is a parking nearby where someone might help you with your luggage. Nadia helped us with that and told us how much we should pay for parking luggage carrying and so on, she was very kind, highly recommend this place 🙂

“Very charming place, an authentic riad”

We had the whole place for ourselves and we could use the kitchen. Central location. Good wifi. Nadia, the host, was very helpful, she made us a lovely breakfast every day and she took our laundry to get washed, and she went out of her way giving us a lift to the train station, getting us a taxi on our last day and booking us a table on Christmas night. Very charming place, an authentic riad.

“Very nice riad for a good price in the center of Fes”

The Dar Nineta is a small beautiful house on the border of the old town (Medina). It is less than 5 minutes from Bab Barjloud, the large gateway to the west of the city. The house is built in the style of a riad, which means it has a covered patio from which the bedrooms, kitchen and living room lead off. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and a maximum of 9 people can stay there. We allowed ourselves the luxury of taking the house for two. Super! The house has 2 terraces, from the upper one you have a very nice view of the old town. It is nice sitting there after sunset in the evening hours with a candle and enjoy the peace and view of the rooftops of the city. The house is very quiet. This is very pleasant, because the medina is already very busy with many people and so you can retreat to your "oasis of peace". In the house you are not allowed to smoke (fortunately) contrary to the description. It is only allowed outside on the terrace. So there is no smell of smoke anywhere. The owner, Nadja, took care of us very sweetly and attentively and advised us whenever we needed advice. In the morning breakfast was prepared for us . Great service. We enjoyed the days in Dar Nineta very much. Since we wanted to be on the safe side, we had spread our one-week stay from home to 2 accommodations and booked the following days in the 5* Hotel Palais Medina in the new town, which turned out not to be a good decision. Dar Nineta was clearly better. In short, Dar Nineta is well priced, centrally located yet quiet and is a great place to stay for a vacation in Fes.

Farid the man looking after us was incredibly friendly. He was kind to chat to and very understanding. The breakfast served every morning was super nice. We originally booked 1 night, but added 2 extra nights because we liked the property so much. The rooms were huge and there was plenty of space. We were a group of 5, each of whom got a double bed in a private bedroom. The upstairs terrace is fantastic too
