“An absolutely wonderful stay”
We had the pleasure of staying in this beautifully renovated riad, and everything was perfect. The place is extremely clean and tastefully decorated in a very authentic traditional style. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The terrace is simply stunning we had dinner there and it was a truly magical experience. According to the owner, he purchased the riad recently and completely renovated it with great care, and the result is outstanding. The location is ideal, very well situated, right next to the Blue Gate, providing easy and smooth access to the old medina. Finally, the value for money is absolutely perfect. We highly recommend this riad 👍🏻

“Great riad in great location”
Abraham was the absolute best. He did everything he could to make our stay better. You could see he was working very hard and ready to help with anything you could need. The owner was also a great host, and very welcoming. The breakfast was great and the location couldn't be better. Great shower, late hour tea, and AC for warming in the rooms. The bulding is beautiful and it has great decoration, a full riad experience.

“An absolutely perfect stay”
This riad is a true gem in the heart of Fes. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with impeccable service warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The cleanliness is outstanding, with every detail carefully maintained. The location is ideal for exploring the medina while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The architecture is simply stunning, authentic, and full of character, allowing you to truly feel the soul of the place. The highlight was undoubtedly the terrace, offering a breathtaking view over the city a magical spot to unwind and enjoy the moment. Everything was perfect.

“Discovering old Medina in Fes”
The position is one of the best in Fes, five minutes walking to the entrance of Medina. The house is beautiful, with a large and well furnished terrace. Very peaceful. The room was small but in accordance with the shape of old moroccan houses. The girl at the reception was very friendly. We have had a misunderstanding that she and the owner resolved positively. She speaks very good english.

I booked a stay at Dar Elinor and was initially impressed by the appearance of the property—it seemed well-maintained and had potential for a pleasant experience. However, shortly after checking in (about 30 minutes later), the power suddenly went out. While I cannot confirm it, I had the strong impression that the electricity was deliberately cut from the outside. The staff at Dar Elinor then informed us that we needed to move to a different riad, claiming we would be upgraded to a better room. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The second riad was in a much less favorable location, and the quality of the breakfast provided there was quite poor. To make matters worse, we were only checked into this second riad at 10:30 PM, making the entire situation stressful and inconvenient. Overall, the experience felt like a scam. I do not recommend booking with Dar Elinor or the second riad they transferred us to. It's a shame, as I believe I would have enjoyed my stay at Dar Elinor had we not been relocated under such questionable circumstances.

“disappointed”
The first bad impression was that they put me on top without considering my opinion, it was supposedly a larger room (family) but very dark. The internet upstairs was terrible for all three people who had internet access. As for the staff, there was a young boy who supposedly watched over the outer door, which only opens from the inside. I waited at least 15 minutes in the evening for him to deign to open the door. In the morning, the hot water in the bathroom was either very hot or very cold. Another problem is that they only have 3 tables for breakfast, again I waited at least half an hour. I took a picture of the situation and the boy got angry at me for taking a picture because he saw me. I would not stay again!

“We do not recommend!”
Upon our arrival, the lady wo received us (family of 4 with 2 young kids) told us that she could not let us access the room we booked for 2 nights on Booking.com (payment option allowed to only pay at the riad) because apparantly they found an insect in the room. They offered to move us in another Riad, the Riad Rcif Spa & Originale which we agreed to. At that point, they wanted us to cancel our reservation at Dar Elinor which we did not agree on before we could confirm our stay at the Riad Rcif Spa & Originale. The manager of Dar Elinor picked us and drove us at what we thought would be the Riad Rcif Spa & Originale. At the stop point (which was not the Riad Rcif Spa & Originale), an unknown man approach the car to welcome us, and bring us to his Riad, the Old City Palace riad. This riad was NOT on Booking.com as it seems it was a newly opened riad, and so, we did not feel confident at all to walk with an unknown man to an unknown place. We ended up following the Dar Elinor manager and the owner of the Old City palace riad owner to the proposed riad. Welcome at the Old City Palace riad was fine, but we still did not felt confident. All that with the pressure to cancel our stay with Booking (which we did not). In addition, the Old City Palace riad had the room available for only one night. If we wanted to stay for 2 nights, the Old City Palace riad (which again could not be booked on Booking.com) would take care of our luggages the next day and move our stuff in another room. During all the discussions, we learned that it was not an insect problem at the Dar Elinor, the Dar Elinor has simply rebooked our room to somebody else! We do not recommend the Dar Elinor establishment if somebody is looking for a peaceful and trustable stay in Fès.
