Beautifully decorated house inside the old Medina of Fes with short walks to all the important places inside the Medina. There are a number of parking places nearby with about 6 - 8 minute walk to the house. The house feels like an Andalusian palace with massive doors to the rooms and original zellige flooring in the rooms. We were met by the helpful Hanae (manager) who helped us with the luggage to the house. She speaks excellent English and it was very easy to communicate with her. The rooms are a little smal but not cramped. Two of the bathrooms are very spacious while one is a little tight but the other two easily make up for the smaller one. The kitchen is well stocked and there is even a tajine, if you want to make it yourself. Hanae had also left some bottled water for us in the fridge. Check-out was very easy. We just locked up and left the keys in a location advised by Hanae.

The kitchen is very well equipped, with a blendor and an electric kettle as well. It is a very old authentic Dar with daylight flooding the central lobby where there is a table seating 6 and a diwan landscape. In the beautifully painted chest, there are blankets.

The property was exactly as listed with all facilities. The property was in the heart of the Medina, close to all tourist sites, souks and restaurants. The host Hanae, was very responsive and helped organise transport for a day trip to Volubilis and to the train station. Would definitely stay here again
