“Perfect - we wish we could have stayed longer”

We had a fantastic stay at Dar Abdesalam. Amine was incredibly helpful and very friendly. He assisted us with all our questions and provided us with plenty of information. I was there with my sister and my 11-year-old niece, and he was very kind to her as well. He did everything possible to make us feel at ease; we felt completely at home. Amine also offers many options for excursions at very reasonable prices. Additionally, airport transfers can be easily arranged through him. The Riad was beautiful and clean, and the location is excellent. The breakfast was delicious and extensive. Honestly, the best mint tea in Fez. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the water was hot. The beds were comfortable. A lot of times in Morocco I have the feeling the beds can be very hard, here it was not the casse. We hope to return to this Riad someday.

The location was easy to get to and it was not far from a taxi or driver pick up. The welcome was very good, the host was ready to greet us and there was almost always someone in the property to answer questions and help us eg. we had problems getting the TV to work and they sorted that. The host was kind, interested in each of his guests and not at all pushy or overbearing. He offered to arrange trips for us and when we told him that we had already booked some, he respected that. The breakfast was good, we had a selection of Moroccan breads and pancakes which varied each day, the food was mostly home cooked. The room was very spacious and the toilet was separate from the bathroom which was good.

Amine is a great host. Very responsive and considerate since Day1. The room was in the top floor and matched the images. The breakfast was fresh and recommendations from him were very good.

This Dar is fantastic: excellent ample rooms, very clean, rich local breakfast. Amine is the perfect host!

We were a group of friends occupying 4 rooms and we had the whole place for us. Very helpful staff and excellent location. Definitely to be recommended!

Very clean, very well located a few minutes walk from the blue gate but in a quieter street. Amine our host was great at communicating before we arrived and was there to help us throughout our stay.

Amine is a wonderfull host and the rooftop terrace is lovely.

Amine made our stay exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming and always there to help you. Location is very good and the hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooftop is perfect for relaxing after a day in the chaotic old medina. Would recommend the tour that Amine offered. Everythjng was perfect!

The host was very kind and attentive to our requests. He guided us into the medina and, within five minutes, provided us with a guided tour (highly recommended). The breakfast was the most authentic we had in Morocco. Amazing rooftop!

“Your home away from home”

Amin is always available and goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Remembers every preverence you might have and makes sure he meets every single one of them. Combined with the grand entrance with the lovely mosaic and amazing woodcraft, the spacious rooms and the rooftop terrace completed with jacuzzi mades us feel like royalty. The beds actually cuddle you to sleep, the comfort is next level. Showers are the best (immediately warm and good pressure). Hamdulillah for your beautiful baby boy that was born the night before we arrived. MashaAllah. May Allah continue to watch over you and all your loved ones.

The Riad is located perfectly for exploring the Medina and the surrounding area. It is beautifully decorated and has a warm welcoming feeling. But the highlight for us was the terrace on which you could sit in the evening and look over the city. Amine was very welcoming and made everything we wished for possible.

The Riad is in a perfect location to explore Fez. Amine the host does a sensational job of making you feel welcome and help with organising your stay. His recommendations are excellent. Breakfast is a home made wonderful experience for the taste buds.
