Good Breakfast and friendly staff. Lived the easy access to the beach and diving centre.

Well-decorated guesthouse, conveniently located on the island (2-minute walk from the port for those who want to go diving, which was our case). Clean, spacious rooms, with a nice open-air shower. Breakfast was good and copious, European-style, and the coffee is very good. A tribe of cats in the garden, which was not at all disturbing for us. Just a noisy air conditioning but it was OK.

Villa Rosa, run by Michela and Claudio, is an extraordinary place. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, it is a carefully curated space where you can find a place to relax in a hammock or have a cup of coffee in the shade of the palm trees. The rooms are very comfortable and clean; attached is a beautiful outdoor bathroom where the sun rays shine or raindrops flow. Italian cuisine with Maldivian elements, fish, desserts; everything is fresh, delicious and beautifully arranged. Michela, who is the soul of this house, takes care of every detail and every guest. However, this place is extraordinary also due to its special inhabitants: a large family of beautiful orange cats, which are rare in the Maldives, because Maldivians generally do not keep any pets. Michela and Claudio have given these beautiful and smart animals a home and plenty of love. The cats are very well behaved, discreet and do not interfere with guests - in fact, it is the guests that seek their attention. We spent some beautiful moments at Villa Rosa and we would love to come back soon.

Everything!! It was a perfect stay!! its a beautiful guest house very comfortable and cozy! The attention to detail is fantastic! Amazing breakfast everyday with Micaela’s great cakes!! Micaela and Claudio are super hosts and have created an oasis on this island! we are sad to leave this beautiful place and highly recommend staying here

“Pleasant place but important to speak Italian to make the most of it”

The place itself is very pleasant, bed comfortable and communal areas very pleasant. Feridhoo island has a nice bikini beach with good reefs for snorkelling and variety of wildlife. The welcome off the boat was very nice. There are a few shops nearby too.

The property was great and had a good ambience overall. There were two owners, Mikela was lovely and was a great host, hospitable however Claudio was a different story all together. He created a Negative atmosphere, was constantly rude and none of the other guests had good things to say about him. I wouldn’t recommend this property solely based on him.

“Amazing experience, perfect place to stay.”

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at (or maybe even the best). And here is why: 1. The atmosphere. Claudio and Michela created this special atmosphere of cosiness and warmth. At the same time the level of service is great: everything is thought through, so you don’t have to worry about staff like PCR, transfer, etc., which is crucial when you’re on vacation. 2. The food. It’s simply delicious. It’s hard to find quality food at tourist destinations and Villa Rosa really stands out. Every meal was a delight, a perfect mix of local and Italian cuisine. We booked full board and it was the right choice. 3. The island. It’s a small, picturesque place with a beautiful bikini beach, friendly, smiling people, who are ready to help, excellent places for snorkeling close to the beach with two sea turtles swimming around the reef. 4. Activities. There is a full range of activities available: diving, manta point, trip to a sand bank, fishing, etc. We tried all the main ones and it was perfectly organized. Diving with Chiara was an amazing experience. I feel really nervous under water and my previous attempts to try diving brought me nothing but stress, no joy. This time everything went smoothly, because of how caring she is and how great she is at her job. Also fishing needs mentioning, because during our fishing trip we got to see a whale shark! This is incredible and feels like a dream come true. 5. Comfort and interior. The villa looks great, It’s chic and tasteful. 6. Very few tourists. We visited in February and it seemed like there were up to 20 tourists all over the island during our stay. It was peaceful and quiet. In other words our stay was absolutely perfect. This is an amazing alternative to luxury hotels.

Thank you to Claudio and Michela for a wonderful holiday. The welcome into your home was amazing. The facilities and the location are wonderful I really loved the lazy day spent in the garden of the Guest House. we really appreciated the way all the facilities in the Guest House was set up for the guests. Michaela’s eye for detail is amazing and we felt from arrival that nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed the meal times with all guests sitting together and interacting and enjoying wonderful stories and experiences with new found friends.. The home cooked food was so lovely and well presented 5 stars for the food..xx The location of the Guest House is perfect and the beach only a very short walk. lazy days on Bikini beach was a welcome treat for us after the stresses of travel and Norman life.. The dive centre is well equipped and Ciara and Ricardo were very helpful for any water sports and Diving and snorkelling.. I am proud to have taken my first ever Dive and will definitely follow up on the PADI courses… The snorkelling experience is second to none such a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our lunchtime Virgin Mojitos in the Aliha Cafe the welcome from Dombre the owner and Adam was lovely and so nice to interact with the locals. An overall wonderful experience on a Paradise Island in the Maldives..xx

“FANTASTIQUE, AMAZING, PURE BLISS.”

Villa Rosa is beautiful. We really enjoyed our week long stay. Claudio and Michela are welcoming, and have clearly put a huge amount of thought and attention into every single detail of their beautiful guesthouse, which is set around a leafy courtyard where kittens played in the white sand. Miche's Italian home cooking is exquisite, every meal was delicious and surpassed our expectations. BEST CAESAR SALAD ever, homemade ice creams, amazing desserts (or pudding, as the British say). Claudio runs a PADI centre called Noohiri (where you can also rent sailing boats). We are not divers, but Claudio showed us the best snorkeling spots that could be reached independently, and then guided us on a trip to see some other local reefs. During our time in the Maldives we visited three islands, and the corals around Feridhoo Island were the most vibrant, and the marine life the most interesting from the sea horses to the turtles and sharks. The island itself is green, the village is small and quiet while being large enough to have amenities including a few shops, a restaurant, and a clinic with a doctor and nurses (who were very attentive when helping with a previous injury). The communication before arriving was detailed and friendly, Claudio and Miche were very helpful. An impressively well organized establishment that would suit anyone looking for a peaceful time and beautiful seas. Definitely worth a visit. Grazie Mile Claudio and Michela!
