Escapism Maldives was absolutely perfect — we loved every minute of our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone. The location is the best, close to everything, right by the harbour and really close to the Beach. The room was spotless, well maintained, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall comfort really enhanced the experience. What truly made this place special, however, was the people. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, offering personalized service, helpful local recommendations, and genuine hospitality throughout our stay. They also offer a variety of excursions, and we joined two half-day trips (even combining multiple activities in a single day). We thoroughly enjoyed them. It never felt like they were simply trying to complete the excursion; they were genuinely passionate about showing us the best experiences and always gave their full effort. They gave full support to organize the transfer to and from the island. AMBAA Cafe, the place to eat, is just right across the street, food is really delicious and the staff is outstanding, paying attention to every detail. Their dedication and kindness made all the difference and turned our time on Feridhoo into an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Escapism Maldives to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable, and exceptional stay in the Maldives. They really deserve maximum rating!

The room was lovely, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner and staff are always helpful and take care of every request, no matter how small. I also joined the snorkelling trip and it was an absolute highlight of my stay – a huge thank you to Rosie and Junaid for making it so special! On my last morning I needed an early breakfast to catch the ferry, and it was arranged without any fuss at all. That kind of flexibility really is appreciated. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place!

10/10 and if I could I would give this accommodation even more! Absolutely amazing! Me and my sister really fell in love with Maldives mainly because of this family owned hotel. From the first minute the main manager/owner Shuhad took care of us in the best way. His heartwarming approach and understanding while we needed help because of our canceled flight was breathtaking. Nothing was problem. He always had solution for us and made us feel like home. We are really grateful! Rooms were absolutely clean, every day new towels and during our breakfast the room service cleaned our room really precisely. Bathroom was really beautiful and there is a private outside space in the room to dry your clothes too. We walked the whole island and definitely this place has the best location, lobby and the best restaurant. Food was delicious and for the breakfast you could choose every day either continental or traditional Maldivian. Even drinks were really tasty in comparison with other restaurants. All staff was like manager himself, friendly and really caring. Moreover if you like to spend some time in shadow during the hottest hours hotel lobby is perfectly situated for it and you do not have to be at your room. There is always water/coffee and tea for you. Air conditioner is working well too! To sum it up-there is no better place in Feridhoo or in Maldives. If you want to feel truly welcome, it is the right option. Shuhad always found the most cost effective option for us to save our money and spoke really good English. Excursions are also possible and even if you are only two people price is still the same and you have a wonderful private experience for the same money as big group tours. Clean and neat room. Mammoo was humble and always willing to offer any assistance with life jackets etc. Towels changed daily. Good showers and lots of free water and tea/coffee. Good wifi Reasonably priced Ambaa Restaurant. This guest house has potential for improvement. Feridhoo is an island like no other...unimaginable beauty. White sands and tourquise waters with amazing coral. Local people were most hospitable and welcoming. Guitar sharks right on the shoreline. Fishing is totally amazing.

The host is amazing. The property is 90min ride from Male but host handle all of it. We got free rental snorkelling gear which made our trip special. The island could be improved but beaches were impressive.

“Glad to be back”

This was our second stay at Escapism Maldives, the first being in October 24. Transfer: This time, we quickly connected with the hotel representative — now conveniently stationed at the island’s reception desk — and reached the island within 1.5 hours by speedboat. Friendly Hosts: As before, Shuhad, the guesthouse owner, and his brother Junaid (who runs the restaurant) provided thoughtful and attentive service, demonstrating their experience, education, and excellent English. Shuhad welcomed us with a drink and provided a detailed introduction to the guesthouse rules and our stay. He was always responsive and tried his best to assist with any issues. Accommodation Quality: Rooms remain basic with all the essentials. Daily cleaning was efficient, drinking water was always available, and the shower had excellent water pressure and temperature control. Dining: We opted again for a breakfast and dinner plan. Breakfast remained simple, with two options, while dinner offered the same varied menu as during our previous visit. Beach Accessibility: The beach has become noticeably narrower due to sand erosion, and we saw only one turtle this time — unlike our previous visit, when they were frequently seen and even nested here. Possibly, the reduced space now limits their access. On the bright side, more umbrellas have been added, offering better shade and comfort. A noticeable improvement from our last stay — there were significantly fewer sandflies, thanks to periodic treatments carried out by the guesthouse. If you do experience discomfort, it's worth informing the staff — they can arrange additional treatment of the beach area. Reef and Marine Life: The house reef remains a pleasant spot for snorkeling, with plenty of fish and occasional rays. Currents were milder this time, which made snorkeling easier for us.

“Hidden gem of local islands”

I am 60 years old and I have visited many places. But this holiday surpassed all my expectations. First, let's be clear. It is not a 5 stars resort, but you are not paying for one either. The rooms are nice and clean, you get all fresh towels every day, as much water as you need and also coffee and tea is available. I would recommend taking breakfast and dinner. Owners of the hotel and restaurant are brothers Shuhad and Junaid and the restaurant where you eat is next door. For breakfast, you can choose between local and continental, accompanied by water, juice and coffee. For dinner, you choose from the menu of the restaurant, where you can mix local dishes, which are delicious and also pizzas and burgers. I would also recommend having delicious mocktails on the terrace of the restaurant, overviewing the port. Shuhad also organizes excursions, we took three and were all great. You get a private boat with knowledgeable crew, which are friendly locals, and hey don't hurry you if you want to take some more time enjoying snorkeling or swimming with mantas. Everything was easy going. Shuhad is really an amazing person and he responded promptly to all our needs and wishes. He also organized the transfer to the island and back and even got us a return trip which was not the normal early morning, which is standard. And finally, about the island. It is just gorgeous for people who don't like masses of turists, enjoy nature and love enjoying marine life. There are a lot of live corals and all kind of fishes. The house reef is very close to the beach. If you like just chilling on the beach, no problem. We were at the peak season and had no problem getting sunlounges with umbrellas. Thanks to all the friendly crew, from Escapism and above all Shuhaid.

This is a magical island. Look no further if you want one of the worlds best beaches almost to yourself, turquoise warm sea filled with fish, sharks, turtles, rays and more. Breakfast was a simple local or continental. Comfortable beds. Fab AC. Mini fridge/freezer. Large shower room. Teeny outside bit to dry stuff. Safe. Good local breakfast. Lovely team at Ambaa Cafe. Plenty of complimentary water(plastic bottles). Complimentary tea and coffee both in the cafe and in the lounging area. I was well looked after, trips arranged easily and for a great price, despite it often being just me on a trip. It's 5* travelling for 1* prices in the Maldives. You can't top that!

“Impressed”

I was impressed that not even 30 years old brothers created this beautiful 6 room little hotel on this local island. We felt well taken care of. Special new years eve dinner party on the beach will be remembered. This night I saw bioluminescence the first time in the sea in the Maldives. Beds super cozy, great to sleep in. Snorkeling equipment available, like sun beds with parasols at the bikini beach free of charge. Transportation was kindly organized by the hotel, and other sea trips. All in all, a beautiful experience.

The room was nice, large and clean. The staff was great, always available, we really felt taken care of. The restaurant was also very nice, we usually had dinner there and it was always very good. The guesthouse also provides breakfast (local or continental, both very good), sunbeds at the bikini beach, and offers several excursions at a reasonable price. Everything was perfect, I definitely recommend it
