The host were absolutely lovely we had a wonderful stay it was very comfortable and inviting after waking we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast that we would not be able to have at any other hotel we could have stayed at Don and Renee were so easy to talk to we had great conversation but also had great time to ourselves we will definitely return we love the town of Fergus thank you again for a fantastic stay and opening your home to complete strangers so that they may have a relaxing time away from their own home sincerely, Steve and Heather!💯👍🏽

I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts. None compared to this gem. The place is exceptionally clean and the host is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh, home cooked and plentiful. The bed was very comfortable. This beautiful home is on a quiet street in a beautiful village. Thanks Don for a great experience.

“Two thumbs up Evening Shade!”
The apartment was impeccably clean and comfortable. Great location for site seeing . Ample parking for two. Complimentary beverages in the fridge. A full breakfast was served with table side service from Don who was so friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This place was exceptional!

Don made a fantastic breakfast could not ask for anything more. Always on a timely manor and delicious very clean and tidy and thoughtful toward his guests {us}. We felt we made new friends everything was more than expected. both Don and Renee were great and made us feel like royalty all the while respecting our privacy during our stay.. “Excellent stay, I had an amazing sleep in that bed”
Don was an absolute gentleman. His home is wonderful. You enter the main door with your own code. The living area is the lower floor, with a mini bar fridge, queen bed and incredible sheets and mattress. The living area has comfortable couches, tv, WiFi, stocked mini fridge with drinks of various sorts, the main room has a huge walk in closet and the space is nice and comfortable temperature for daytime and for sleep. I had to work in the area early in the morning and Don was up before me with coffee and breakfast on offer. We had a chance to chat a few times and he is a genuine wealth of experience and knowledge. I highly recommend this great BNB, Don goes the extra mile and he really cares about his guests. I look forward to another stay.
