Overview
Chateau de Fere is located just a 1 hour drive from Paris. This castle dating back to the 17th century offers a gastronomic restaurant, swimming pool and spa facilities. It is set in 60 acres of parkland with a tennis court and opportunities for hiking and cycling. All the rooms are equipped with en suite facilities. They have views over the castle’s fortress and gardens. There is a gastronomic restaurant and in the summer, guests can enjoy their meals on the terrace. The Chateau de Fere is ideally located in beautiful countryside and just 45 minutes from Disneyland Paris. Free private parking with video surveillance is available on site.

“DISAPPOINTING STAY IN WHAT SHOULD BE A SUPERB HOTEL BECAUSE OF ITS SITUATION AND ARCHITECTURE”
THE POSITION OF THIS CHATEAU HOTEL IS SUBLIME WITH THE RUIN OF THE OTHER CHATEAU IN FRONT OF IT AND IN A QUIET UNSPOILT COUNTRYSIDE. THE HOTEL ITSELF IS BEAUTIFUL. THE ROOM WE HAD WAS LARGE AND OVERLOOKING COUNTRYSIDE.

“What a treat this chateau is, and for our 25th wedding anniversary we couldn’t have asked for better. Shhh don’t tell”
Everything, from Check in to checkout all the staff were so attentive and friendly. In eight they even brought in the chef for us to sit in the dining room and have dinner, all the food we had here is quality and the best we had in France. Nothings too much and the grounds are amazing, I ran around the estate and enjoyed a 7km walk. The ruins are a massive bonus and the history here is so interesting. The room upgrade was an added bonus. Cannot wait for the spa to be redone so we can visit again. The champagne is a must too.

Beautiful property in a great location- we have visited before and may well visit again. All of the staff were terrific and the new sommelier / head of the restaurant ( Vincent?) was helpful , charming and very engaging - really helped the experience .

Beautiful chateau with a fantastic ruin just behind it. Reception was easy and concierge capable and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and a fabulous bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. Dinner was very good. I’d definitely recommend going and we intend on returning.
