A beautiful riverside Inn with views of the river. In the evening it was beautiful, sitting on the balcony and watching the performance boats float past. The location in general was really great, and not too hard to find. Someone came and met us from the bus stop and walked with us to the Inn which was really helpful as well. They gave some tips on how to find your way home when out in the day, too which was nice. The room was lovely and comfortable. The couple that run the place are really lovely, and even offered us a gift when we were checking out, which was a really nice surprise.

Lovely room, riverside balcony, clean and comfortable. Just a few steps from the taxi drop off which is a big plus considering the city is full of tiny streets and stairs. The owners are a lovely couple who will go out of their way to support with anything during the stay, arranging pickups, helping with laundry etc. Definitely recommended for a quiet stop in Fenghuang.

The place was super well located! Amazing to see the light show at night. The staff was super helpful, and took our bags to/from the taxi and to/from the room.

“Highly recommend for a short stay in Fenghuang”

The owners are really nice and kind. They helped us with the luggages, with the taxi, the boat tickets and gave a lot of tips and suggestions for the itinerary given our short stay. They also offered us some food when we arrived and when we left. Even if they don’t speak English, it is quite easy to communicate with them. The location of the hotel is really good, there are stairs but they will help you with the luggages. The view from the room is really nice.

The location was amazing with beautiful views of the river in the day and at night. The staff were so helpful and upgraded our room so we could be next to each other and helped us book a large taxi to the train station which was really appreciated. We unfortunately were only in town for one night but it was the perfect place to stay to see the town and experience the culture. Really close to where you get the boats on the river. Really good value for money.

The hotel has an excellent location, but what truly made our stay special was the couple managing it. They went above and beyond to help us—they picked us up from the taxi, arranged transportation for us very early in the morning, and even provided us with fruit and helpful recommendations. They were absolutely wonderful.

It's a lovely place, with a great view. The location is perfect, only 15 minutes from the high speed railway station and by the river so you can walk to the bridges and stores nearby. There is a convenience store and restaurants right next to it too. The owner was very helpful and gave us many useful tips to walk the city and even found us a taxi at the checkout. Definitely a good choice to stay here when visiting Fenghuang.

“Exceptional hosts!”

The hosts are what makes this stay absolutely exceptional. They are unreasonably hospitable and will help you make your stay extremely enjoyable. The rooms and bathroom are both clean. The riverviews are very relaxing during the day and you can walk to anywhere from there. The showers are hot, there is daily room cleaning and the area is very safe. The beds are on the firmer side. Just over the Fengqiao bridge is a coffee spot (borderland coffee) which is great for the mornings. The hosts really look after you and given that the didi taxi app doesn't really work here they are very helpful in helping you organise any tours or attractions you want that are further afield such as the Azhai area and Miao villages. The tour guide they work with, she was so amazing too. We even went to some local hot springs.

Great location with magnificent views of the river and the night lights. Spacious and clean room, with washing machine as well. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was OK, including carrying my big luggage from/to the room to the street level (no elevators) and helped me hail a taxi as Didi doesn't work in Fenghuang. Right in the center of the ancient town, I highly recommend.

The owner could not have been more helpful, meeting me at the bus stop with an umbrella and helping organise my time and supplying some supplies and fresh fruit. The view from the room’s balcony along the river was amazing

Absolutely perfect location, the host met us at where the bus drops you off and he walked us down to the hotel carrying the heaviest bag. The hotel itself is in a perfect location with beautiful views from the balcony, it's fully equipped with a full AC (you'll need it in winter) and tv, snacks, amenities etc. Apon arrival the host added me on WeChat and sent Through a bunch of information, maps, tips, and good places to eat etc and it was very helpful!! Hopefully we'll be able to stay again.

The room was excellent, very comfortable and well prepared. The location is wonderful, peaceful, and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. Waking up to such a view was a real highlight of my stay. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. He recommended delicious local food, suggested great places to visit, and shared valuable tips on what to see in the area. Most importantly, he helped me get a taxi when I couldn’t find any car through the app, which was a huge help. On the day of departure, I was also allowed to leave my luggage, which gave me the freedom to spend a few more hours exploring without any stress. I truly felt taken care of and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
