The couple running this place are so welcoming. The lady came out to greet us in the street before we had even determined which was the right building. Dinner and breakfast table d’hote so met others and food was just right

“Quiet, comfortable, friendly and convenient”
I was visiting Felletin to travel on the railway branch line from Busseau-sur-Creuse that is expected to close on 31 August 2025. The hotel was ideally located just a five minute walk from the railway station in the centre of the town. I was made very welcome by the proprietors and hope to return.

“Very happy stay”
We liked the friendly welcome no fuss, diners was good and the co. Pany. Really enjoy our stay there. Made mistake when booked the room but all cleared with no fuss. Really recommend it. Very easy and nice owners.

Very simple hotel, the room was small and very clean, and had an ensuite shower and toilet (albeit with the top 50cm of the wall at the top open to the room, for ventilation). But it was very reasonable value. Lovely hosts and the dinner was really enjoyable and amazing value at 15 Euros per person. After the starter, I had brandade de morue as my main dish followed by Ile flottante. Two of my favourite dishes! Some (rough) wine included. All in a simple courtyard. We didn't have breakfast which I rarely feel worthwhile, but were shortchanged by the Grand Cafe le Felletin across the road, so our coffees cost us some 14 euros! But this hotel was a lovely find, with present and slightly eccentric hosts, and left me feeling happy. No lift though in case that is important to you.
