This was my first and last stay at Helnan Auberge Fayoum. We stayed for one night instead of our booked two nights. It took three hours to house us in a room. We waited while housekeeping cleaned a room for us. It still wasn't up to standard. The hotel occupancy is minimal, so there's no reason for the dismal housekeeping. The heating wasn't working in January, and maintenance wasn't able to fix the problem even after changing the room. The windows weren't properly secured, so the room was freezing at night. The Wi-Fi was also not working. The reception staff were not helpful or up to par. The food was average, not worth a five-star rating. The hotel needs renovation, and everything is dusty. Value for money was very poor. We paid 2 nights accomodation in advance, stayed one night only, and didn’t get a refund on our second night. Overall, this was a bad experience.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for my stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with genuine care and a positive attitude, which truly enhanced the overall experience. The hotel’s location is outstanding, peaceful, with a beautiful view that adds a sense of relaxation and comfort. The food was one of the highlights of the stay. There was an impressive variety of dishes, all of high quality, deliciously prepared, and thoughtfully presented, catering to different tastes and preferences. Overall, it was a well-rounded and memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would certainly choose to stay here again.

“Great location with needed adjustments for a perfect stay”

The hotel's location is really good. It is spot on Lake Quran with spread out greenery. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, pool and green area. The hotel and room was clean with sufficient amenities.

Great room with basic facilities. Best to take ear plugs with you if you want to rest/sleep early. Isolation is maybe a point of improvement. Great location to have a long holiday and not leave the hotel. Overall a nice stay

only one hour away from cairo, My stay at Helen Auberge was super relaxing! The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating with all our requests. It’s a lovely place to disconnect and recharge away from the city noise and daily drama. The pool was refreshing, and the food was tasty with a nice variety, even though the number of guests wasn’t very high. The building itself has a lot of charm and history—it even dates back to King Fouad—so spending a few days there felt special. While it could use some light renovations, nothing really affected our stay. I definitely recommend it! It has a completely different vibe compared to the tunis Fayoum hotels/ lodges .

I liked everything there. I hope I can stay more. It is an amazing relaxing hotel.

The place was beautifully designed back i the day and you can see its past glory, but it's left unkept and poorly maintained. My room was comfortable and had a nice view of the lake. Staff were -for the most part- friendly.
