I stayed one night at Danhostel Faxe and was thoroughly impressed by the breathtaking setting—right on the edge of Europe’s largest limestone quarry, offering unbeatable views and a tranquil atmosphere. The room had a private bathroom, and facilities were excellent: free Wi‑Fi, a barbecue and bonfire areas, and on-site parking. The hostel is just a two-minute walk from Faxe town centre, with shops, cafés, and easy transport access. I especially loved the chance to explore nearby Geomuseum Faxe and go fossil‑hunting in the quarry—an unforgettable experience. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the social‑enterprise vibe added a meaningful touch. Highly recommended!

“Danshostel is excellent accomodation for all peoples, the communication with worker was the best.”
The accomodation in Danshostel in Faxe is excellent still. I like all, especially very fine peoples, excellent communication, beautiful location. Breakfast is excellent. The kitchen is beatuifull and I am much appreciated for my 3 days here. I can recommend for tourists, researchers, families with children...
