“Very nice hotel”

The hotel was wonderful, and I can recommend it to everyone. What we especially appreciated was the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They picked us up from the harbor by car and brought us back there as well, and they quickly and easily arranged bicycles for us. The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the center of the island, making it easy to reach every part of Favignana. There is also a fantastic jacuzzi, and each room comes with its own terrace. The kitchen was well equipped – the only thing we missed was some olive oil. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though in some areas – as is often the case in Sicily – the finishing was a little rough (for example, some crumbling plaster on the walls). However, this did not affect our stay at all – our time on Favignana was simply perfect.

Our room had a wonderful view of the sea and of Santa Caterina castle. We enjoyed cycling around the island and the owners (Rosario and his wife) were very helpful and welcoming. They came to pick us up and drop us off at the ferry and then they even organised our bicycle hire. We made friends with other people staying at Senia del Rais thanks to the hot-tub at the bottom of the garden! You cannot go wrong if you choose to stay here. The owners also run a little delicatessen shop in the square in Favignana. The beach is only a 15 min walk from the apartments and so is the centre of Favignana so Senia del Rais is in a perfect location! There is free, private parking right in front of the rooms. We hope to come back again! Remember though that any visit to Favignana is not complete without visiting the "Giardino dell'Impossibile"!

He picked us up from the port upon arrival and even drove us back on our departure day, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Everything was truly perfect. Wonderful location and perfectly distanced between the main town and beach. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus especially at sunset with views of the castle. Having different seating spaces outside was also really lovely. Wonderful hosts and very clean and peaceful. Do try Favingana Gin which is beautiful.

Lovely property in an excellent location equidistant from the town and the Lido Burrone so easy to access both on foot Rosario met us at the port and couldn't do enough for us Even though the weather wasn't great he did his best to make sure we enjoyed our stay Having a kitchen was very useful especially on days when it was raining The bed was comfy and the bathroom was functional with plenty of hot water The gardens around the property are well-tended to and the outdoor jacuzzi is a nice touch Good value for money

“Good location for a short holiday break”

The hosts were really helpful. The location is nice: you are in the countryside but the town center is just 4 min ride by bicycle, the sea is 2 mins away. A bicycle/ scooter is a must. The territory is large enough and well-groomed. The apartment is nice for a short holiday stay. FOR NOMADS: there is no chance. internet is not enough for a remote work either mobile or wifi, 3-6 mbs inside and 15-18 mbs outside with unstable signal. It's a common story for the small islands, I've tried them all - don't waste your time, stay in Sicily. Be aware of ants! Don't leave food outside the fridge.

A wonderful carefree vacation! Sena del Rais is a romantic place to spend your dream vacation. Our stay was excellent. We highly recommend it, so close to the center and at the same time in the countryside, with a beautiful garden where there is pleasant, tasteful, clean accommodation equipped with everything you need. Strategic location - close to the center, market and beautiful beaches, accessible in a few minutes on foot, by bike, or scooter. We appreciate your welcome and support, very pleasant and accommodating owners! Welcome from the ferry and transfer to the accommodation where you will be offered refreshments (thank you for the delicious coffee with pistachio) and they will provide a map and show us the most beautiful places on the island - beaches, good restaurants, shops (they own a shop with homemade products - we recommend visiting), bike rental ...answers to all questions. At the end of the holiday, transfer to the ferry again. Thank you Rosario and Maria Antonietta, if we visit Favignana again we will be happy to come back.
