New and clean interiors with nice kitchen, location, bicycle rental, all at a very reasonable prices, the helpful and friendly host could give good information what to see, which restaurants are open (as my stay was in low-season when many businesses close).

The hostel is located near the town of Fårosund. All conditions for a quality vacation have been created. Recommendation: order bed linen before arrival. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality and trust.

“Cosy, quaint place to stay at Fårösund”

Convenient place to stay at in Fårösund before going to Fårö. Quite near the ferry terminal as well, but also quaint enough that you can have a relaxing day. Staff were also very friendly and responsive to any questions, so I felt really welcomed on my stay here.

“Perfect place for my trip to Faro”

When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner who walked me through the check in process. She also set me up with a much larger room in a quieter building, because there was a large wedding party staying at the hostel. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas were kept very clean. I also took advantage of the free breakfast and cheap bike rental (150SEK a day). The location is also perfect--it was a 7 minute bike ride to the ferry so that I could explore Faro all day.

Breakfast is rather simple but still great. Location is very convenient for those who plan to visit Fårö.

Great place to stay. An old Swedish air force base that has been converted into holiday chalets. I was upgraded to a "Studio" so my comments relate to this type of accommodation. Comfortable beds, en-suite bathroom and kitchen make it a good choice. About 15 minutes walk into Fårösund with its free ferry to Fårö and supermarket. 5 minute walk from bus stop. Also interesting local walks as well. You can also hire a bike from Bunge Hostel as they have an arrangement with a local bike hire company. Overall I recommend this as a place to stay.

we had a lovely stay at STF Bunge Hostel. the facilities are simple but you have the essential and everything is very clean. I loved this stay close to nature, waking up everyday and opening my window to trees and fields

+ Everything looked good, neat –they have been renovating the cabins so I guess that’s why! + Possibility to rent a (very good) bike + Kitchen: good fridge, oven, cooking plates + Not too far away from sea/ferry –to get to Fårö island
