Hotel Skansen is located in central Färjestaden on the island of Öland. This historic, family-run hotel is 3 km away from Öland Bridge. “2 nights with dog”
Our first accommodation has been cancelled by the Host in Öland, so we have booked in the last minute Skansen. Finally we have spent there 2 nights because we wanted to look around in Öland and enjoyed the stay as well. Great size of room, helpful staff and beautiful longe area. Breakfast had wide range of choice, with gluten free and vegan options. Animals are welcomed, some treats have been served to our dog. Based on our complains, we got small amount of refund, which was a correct attitude.

“Don't book this hotel,it's overpriced and tries to be fancy when it's a very low budget.”
Not like the pictures- Small rooms and no air-conditioning in 30+ heat. Mediocre breakfast, dirty tables and bird droppings everywhere! If possible don't book this hotel.

We love the breakfast at Skansen, it has a range of appealing, fresh and delicious options. A great start to the day. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of where to sit, it is very clean, we never feel rushed and feel it is a great start to the day.

“We had a great stay at the hotel, kids enjoyed the spa and dogs were welcomed with open arms. Very nice hotel.”
Great hotel, old and cozy. Very good breakfast and children enjoyed the spa very much. Dogs were welcomed and our he got a blanket, some food/water bowls and a snack, which was great :)

The breakfast was good and varied but not well organized and this caused a long queue.The jacuzzi and pool were great and clean.
