Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. It was super conveniently located on the bus route between Chiayi and Alishan forest, with beautiful hiking trails and tea houses nearby. It was quiet and clean and everyone was very friendly, especially the chief mouser and head of mouse keeping, tabby cat and orange cat! The breakfast and tea options were delicious, nothing is better than eating their jasmine tea jelly while watching seas of clouds rolling over nearby mountains.

Wonderful hotel with a great view from the balcony. Comfortable bed, good aircon and dehumidifier. Breakfast was nice. The Hotpot Dinner is recommended.

“Life changing mountain stay”

SunSweet House is a family-run stay with a lot of interesting history. We were told that the site was previously used as a tea-processing factory. The original building was kept and converted to a lovely hotel with amazing views. All the family members that we spoke to were very passionate about their hotel, and you can really tell that they put lots of thought into the big and little details. Talking with the staff was inspiring. All around the hotel was breathtaking views and fresh mountain air. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh daily. Tea and coffee was also brewed fresh using their own tea leaves. The rooms were cleaned daily and kept spotless. We will definitely be back!

Super sweet B&B with amazing sunrise view, great breakfast buffet, very comfortable rooms and good access to Eryanping Trail. I was sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer!

The view from our room was fantastic. The sunrise from the terrace was amazing. The hot pot dinner was delicious.

You can also enjoy the view while eating. There are great fragrances in the room, which you can also purchase at the reception. They also sell some local made goodies (teapots, souvenirs, teas, etc.). The hotel is conveniently located and is not too far from Alishan recreational area. I highly recommend this place
