Near to a walking trail and surrounding scenery. Can see some fire flies outside the property at night. Took a Nice breakfast with scenery outdoor. You need a car to get there

“Beautiful and comfortable homestay”

We had an excellent stay at Chuxu Homestay. The family room was clean, spacious, and perfect for a group—it came with three comfortable double beds. The breakfast was healthy and delicious, a great way to start the day. The location is ideal for nature lovers. From the homestay, we walked to the Er Yan Ping Trail and reached the viewing platform to enjoy the breathtaking sea of clouds and a stunning sunset. The views were absolutely beautiful and worth every step of the walk. Overall, a wonderful experience with great hospitality and an unbeatable location for scenic hikes. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and dog; able to use their mircowave and fridge; room cooridor facing the sunrise; walk less than 40mins to see sunset; best view for star gazing; nutritious breakfast; provide nexflix channels; and many more. You should come and experience yourself.

“Excellent Stay - Highly Recommended”

Friendly hosts. Beautiful views from the property. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was great. Parking was a bonus. The dogs were lovely. We were planning to do the Eryanping Trail but the dogs led us to another track that was closer to the homestay 🤣 Our fault really as we weren't really paying attention and just assumed that there was only one walking track. We still eventually got onto the Eryanping Trail which was further along the road. I would definitely recommend staying at this Homestay.

“Good scenic view! Very clean and well maintained.”

View from room is scenic , however the weather is misty when we were there. Room is clean and well maintained. Heater for room and bathroom is a plus as it get very cold a night. There are 3 dogs, one of them actually guide us to shop area 300m down the slope. Breakfast is delicious, vegetarian option is available. I like their milk tea.

I don't usually give reviews online but felt like I had to in this case. This was by far the best hotel experience I have experienced so far. The hotel is located conveniently next to tea and mist trail / eryanping trail. It is only 30 minutes to the highest lookout point for sunset view from the hotel (just follow the road behind the hotel). The staff was very accommodating and friendly and they even make breakfast fresh for you in the morning. The highlight the hotel was by far the views if offered. The hotel is facing the perfect angle for sunrise viewing and if you are lucky you can enjoy your breakfast outside and enjoy the breathtaking views. The dogs also made the stay more personal:) The rooms was also good and clean.

“Nice experience”

Comfortable stay, clean, neat, owner explained the facilities and how to walk to Er Yan Ping in a professional way, not over talk-active but just adequately giving welcoming intro. The environment & vibe is great, would be perfect if the weather allows. Dogs are cute. 星星- the black dog accompanied us to Eryanping. What a nice experience. The breakfast is luscious.

“Perfect stay”

This homestay location is perfect to go Er Yan Ping for hiking or sightseeing. And we love the dogs especially Xing Xing, he is so friendly and protective, he would make sure we follow him back home after the hike. The sunrise view is also perfectly right in front of the homestay. We did not need to wake up early for the sunrise view.

“Super!”

Location is great. Around 5 minutes walk to restaurants, convenience stores and fruits/veggies stands. This location is next to to one of the Alishan famous Eryanping Trail (二延平步道) where you can just walk up to see sunrise and sea of cloud (if weather permitted). In fact, if the sky is clear, you can see the sunrise right from B&B balcony. We love the fresh air, view of tea fields and hospitality. The host was very nice and kind. The gentleman (I believe the owner's son) was super helpful. Ms. Yao (OMG, super nice lady) gave us a lot of information about Alishan. She told us different ongoing event in Alishan, what roads are safe to drive and where to get good hot spring experience in Taiwan. We were lucky to see the Sea of Cloud and visited the annual indigenous wedding event. The ladies in the kitchen made very nice delicious breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. I highly recommend this BnB! Bye Bye Alishan for now, we will come back!

“Best place to go if you don't mind abit of walking uphill!”

Breakfast was delicious! Sunrise view was amazing! Housekeeper eas really sweet ask she picked me up from my dinner place (30mins walk away) at night as i had no other transport. Will definitely visit again next time!
