The facilities were absolutely cosy, it has been done very nicely. We really liked the decorations. The host has been absolutely amazing. So welcoming and kind, showing real interest in us having a lovely time at his premises. The garden is really wonderful as well. The place is on a main road BUT it hasn't been noisy at all! Overall, we loved it, had amazing time and we would visit it again for sure.

“Peaceful accommodation in a fishing village on the shores of the Thracian Sea”
The stay at Fanari, at the Garden Rooms, was exactly to our liking: in the courtyard with a garden, with apricot and cherry trees and beautiful flowers. We had a room with separate access, big enough, with its own bathroom with shower and a kitchenette just for us next door, and a small terrace in front. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. For 5 days, while we stayed there, we had peace, just the way we like it. The sandy, wide and uncrowded beach is very close, as is the port. There is another beach, a little further, about 700 m, with pebbles, undeveloped, wilder and very long. The hosts are very welcoming, kind and friendly. The lady speaks French.

It was a beautiful place to stay with a cozy vibe and a nice outside area. Super close to the beach and good restaurants.

A wonderful, wonderful place to rest. Clean, tidy and stocked with appliances for everything you need. It is 5 minutes from the beach of Fanari and the several restaurants in the village. And the hosts... wonderful people, always smiling and available to guests. For me, as a holidayer in Greece for many years (minus the last two due to the terrible virus) Garden Rooms has given me hope that in these disgusting times we live in there are places to enjoy our holidays. We would visit again without hesitation.

“The perfect vacation”

Everything was perfect for us. Host is very helpful and friendly. They were waiting for us to hand us the key. Great location, everything reachable by foot - beach, tavernas, coffee shop, markets, harbour. Closest beach - Fanari beach - 300-400m from the accoodation. Arogi beach - at about 1,5km Cozy, spacious and clean rooms, well equipped we all we need it. Also their garden is so nice and quiet and we had such a relaxing feeling. For us it was like home away from home. Highly recommend it!

“Quiet comfort in Fanari.”
The Garden Rooms are in an excellent location. They are just set back from the road with everything in easy walking distance but no noise. The bed was very comfortable and the outside seating area perfect. The air conditioner was great, well positioned and quiet. The shower worked well and fly screen doors were really helpful. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Perfect for a 5 day break.

Cosy room. Very clean. Located at the port next to cafes and taverns. There is the city beach right next to it, but the nice Fanari beach is 5mins by car. The hosts were very kind, and even spoke decent Bulgarian. The garden was beautiful.

It was a wonderful experience. The location and the conditions were excellent, our hosts were very friendly and warm people, and the garden was beautiful. Fanari is a very suitable place for families who seek an authentic Greek vacation far from the noise of the big resorts. Arogi beach is huge and sandy with crystal Mediterranean water. The Thracian region of Greece is a hidden treasure with many archeological excavations, you can go each day to a different place. Definitely the three days we stayed weren't enough and we'll come again.
