Great place to stay in Fanari - handy for the airport, but Fanari has great beaches and this was a great place to stay near to beaches and the nearby Dracano Tower. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

The location was up a steep hill so for some a car will be essential. Walks to beaches are many and quiet. and walking to Therma there are loads more beaches and wild life. The local super market is for sale (closed) so on arrival to the island get plenty of food and drink. Several tavernas at Faros beach (in walking distance)

The manager was very nice and it was a lovely view over the valley and sea. I was even given some famous Ikarean honey! Very good value for money

“Peaceful stay near airport”

The couple could not do enough to help us. They picked us up from the port as there were no taxis. Sandwich in fridge for flight. Dropped us to airport

Wonderful location, away from the little village, but only 15 minute walking. Quiet, big rooms, beautiful flowers and view. We loved the stay here.

“Comfortable and clean room in lovely garden”

Very quiet location with lovely sea views set in beautiful gardens. The room was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Eleni and her husband were very helpful. We only stayed one night as we had a flight booked to Athens but I would have liked to stay longer in such a peaceful setting.

Eleni was exceptional in the way she looked after us, not only in providing transfers to and from the airport, but was friendly and helpful in pointing us in the direction of some of the area's places to visit. Drakano is a lovely quiet spot with lots of rural tracks and beautiful coves and beaches.
