Great location and a lovely place to stay. The host, Doga, was so friendly and helpful and the apartment was spotlessly clean. There was coffee, tea, water, complimentary crisps and biscuits all provided. Toiletries and towels also provided. We will return at some point for another stay at Malia guest house.

You could not wish for a more hospitable and helpful host than Doga. He goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay. He gave us good information about restaurants, arranged a taxi for our trip to Salamis, a dolmus booking for our forward journey and a lift to the dolmus station The flat is centrally located, but really peaceful at night. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Fully recommend. Staying in the walled city of Famagusta gives the opportunity to wander the city at night and appreciate the historic a BBC gtmosphere.

The hosts, Doga and his parents (and the lovely assistant in the coffee shop, whose name I have forgotten), were nothing but helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. The area is central and all the places of interest can be reached on foot. I got a lift to Varosha from Nil - mother) and walked back. The area is It is pretty active during the day and very, very quiet at night. As a lone traveller I felt pretty safe. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Property photos are accurate.

Perfect in every way. One of the best value-for- money accommodations I have ever experienced. The family are delightful, the apartment spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower luxurious. The rooftop terrace with its panoramic view of the old city is wonderful especially in the evening. Thank you, Doğa and your parents for a very memorable 4 days.

Amazing accomodation, great location, extremely clean room and bathroom, private access to the roof with nice view over city centre and sea view. Also plenty of water and snacks prepared from Host which is always greatly appreciated. Will definitely look forward to book again next time I will be visiting.

What a wonderful stay at Malia! Super hospitality and welcome from Doga, Nilgun and Senol, family run business. My sister and I stayed at Malia for 8 nights and we couldn't have asked for more. Doga responded promptly to all my emails before we arrived and was there to greet us when we arrived. The accommodation is immaculately clean and we had lots of welcome treats, 2 beers, snacks and plenty of water and one day we even had the pleasure of trying their homemade lemon cake, made with their own lemons!! It was delightful. The bed and bedding is of such high standard, the best nights sleep we have had in a very long time. Staying here is magical, you are in the heart of town, where you can watch the world go by from your balcony, or go to the private rooftop to sunbathe or read or have your breakfast and just take in the view. I am Cypriot and I have visited Famagusta many times but staying here was so special and one of the best stays I have ever had on the island. You feel lucky to be part of the neighbourhood for a while, everyone so warm and friendly and you have the fantastic Malia café downstairs, (Doga makes great coffee and cocktails) and a great shop run by Nilgun. I recommend Malia wholeheartedly and thank our lovely hosts for making this a very memorable and special stay.

Fantastic place!Very comfortable,clean plus complementary snacks and drinks await you (even beer :)) The place would not be so fantastic if not the owners, Doga and the family. We had an unforgettable day trip to Paracas Peninsula with Ms Nilgun. Localization could not be better within the Old City and at the Cafe Malia which is owned and run by the owners too. We received help with everything we asked for,including bikes. Thank you for everything and we hope to visit again.

Everything was ideal. Exceptionally clean. Free beer 2 large bottles, lot of bottles of water snacks and coffee. The shower was great. The host was pleasant. I would go again in a heartbeat 💓.

Exceptional experience. The room is a little apartment in the heart of Famagusta Old Town: you have plenty of space, a big nice bathroom, two little balconies and a private big terrace with an astonishing view on top of the apartment. We found plenty of snacks on a table, city and region maps on another table, and the fridge plenty of water and also 2 beers - all free of charge. The room is very clean and the host Doga (whose family manages also the nice bar below) is super kind and has really run the extra mile to help and support us!

The apartment is in a good position if you want to visit the city on foot. It is very easy to find. In the apartment, Doga (the host), added bottles of water, beers, snacks, coffee, city maps and more other stuff to welcome us. You can go on the roof where you can see the city and enjoy it. He gave us a lot of information about restaurants, shops and markets. My girlfriend is vegetarian and he called a specific restaurant in order to know if they have vegetarian options. He was our "Cicerone" of Famagusta and he was a very kind person. We will see you in Italy Doga!

“Overall, my stay at the Malia let in was nothing short of exceptional.”

Breakfast was not included on my stay (Personally I don't eat breakfast).But the hosts were offering coffee free of charge as well as all drinks. Limoncello was the Hosts favourite drink which he provided for free. In terms of location, the hotel was ideally situated within walking distance of several major attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The lady host was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me plan my days with insightful recommendations.

Complimentary water and snacks on arrival. Spacious apartment. Fully working kitchen, TV facilities walk in shower room was huge. Balcony on all sides and located in the artisan area .very beezy at night, which was lovely. Can't belive how cheap it was!!
