“A little Traditional Turkish house in Famagusta walled city”

The Host. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROBLE FOR HIM TO RESOLVE. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT AND I MEAN EXCELLENT. DEFO 10 OUT OF 10. THE PLACE WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, THE FACILITIES WERE VERY GOOD ,AND WE THOUGHLY ENJOYED STAYING AT MALIA FOUNTAIN HOUSE. 2 MINUTE WALK TO FAMAGUSTA WALLED CITY CENTRE.

Good location within city walls. House spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. A few extras left for us , biscuits,crisps, beer and water. There was everything we needed for our stay,.

Spacious and clean old traditional house with a private courtyard. Nicely renovated inside, well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Good air conditioning. Coffee, tea, snacks, a few beers and plenty of drinking water were available. Comfy bed, good shower, toilet in both floors. Excellent location inside city walls near everything. Parking nearby was easy and free. Doga was very nice and friendly host. Thank you, Doga!

“an excellent traditional accommodation”

A very beautifully preserved, spacious, extremely clean traditional villa, in a quiet area, inside the city walls, with a beautifully arranged courtyard and a panorama of the old city (from the balcony you can see the Sinan Pasha Mosque). The house is made of stone, so it ensures pleasant coolness in the summer. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. There is also a service bathroom, with access from the courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. A welcoming house where we felt at home. Doga, extremely kind, left us water in the apartment even more than for the entire stay, 2 beers, some snacks, tea, coffee. On the day of departure we were able to leave our luggage, after check-out, at his cafe (very close to the villa), and his mother, an extremely kind lady, drove us to the bus station. Doga took care of making a reservation for us for the ride to Kyrenia. We were very surprised by the hospitality of Doga and his family. Thank you very much and we highly recommend Malia Fountain House!

“WOW Fabulous Stay”

Traditional house tastefully renovated in the heart of walled city, within walking distance of everything, but very quiet. House is spotlessly clean and fully equipped. Secluded courtyard offers sun and shade throughout the day. Cafe/bar belonging to the owner is 2 minutes walk away where we were always made to feel very welcome. Loved it and will definitely return.

“best place to stay in Famagusta”

everything. the house got everything one needs and was well decorated with modern comfort in a historical house. good kitchen and shower. Doga prepared plenty of bottled water, a couple of beer and a few snacks too. a balcony upstairs and an inner backyard downstairs. plenty of space. it was clean throughout. met Doga at his cafe and immediately felt his hospitality. parking was opposite the house but if that's not available, it's just a short walk away to a large free carpark. the house was within city walls so everything is near. we even walked to varosha.

“A wonderful place to experience Famagusta”

The house, an old house renovated with taste (apparently very recently refreshed as well), is located in a calm quarter of the old town. It has all comfort one can wish for, fully equipped kitchen, small but functional bathroom with shower (plus second separate toilet). We liked the presence of a nice courtyard and additionally a terrace with view of the city, which is reached by the sun for breakfast time. Check in was easy and the host was very nice. We were greeted by some extras in the fridge and on the table, even if we only stayed one night, which is far from evident. Internet worked, parking nearby was easy.

Wonderful accommodation with everything you need and more provided. Great location and Doga and his family made us feel so welcome! Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

A really nice experience! Everything from the location of the house, equipment and cleanliness of the apartment to the host friendliness and helpfulness was perfect. The location is literally an archaeological site. Plus a great springboard for exploration. We highly recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

The highest level of hospitality! Very nice and helpful hosts, in the house there was a fridge full of water bottles, beer, range of coffee and tea, fruits and biscuits as a treat. They also treated us with coffee and ice cream in their coffee shop, which is 2 minutes from the accommodation. Suggested in which restaurant we can eat fresh seafood, found us a taxi driver to the airport, picked up in some touristic points in the city. The house is soooo nice, much more better than by photos, so cozy, we changed our plans and stayed 2 days more because we wanted to enjoy this house more! Fully recommend 🥰 The house is very clean, there was everything you need for living, big balcony with good wiew, a garden with lemon tree, pomegranate, orange tree and flowers and also with barbecue. Bed is very comfortable!

Beautiful old house in the old city. Excellent facilities, lovely decor, tasteful furniture, comfy bed, well stocked fridge with complimentary water, beer and bananas, biscuits. A lovely balcony and courtyard on a quiet street, 3 minutes walk from the centre. I only give out flawless 10/10 reviews when truly earned, but what a find!

“The walled city.”

Our Host Doga was amazing. There was fruit & biscuits for us on the kitchen table and the fridge was full of water with 3 beers thrown in to.The property was beyond our expectations. Location fantastic.

“Choose Malia Fountain House for having a perfect time in the wonderful city of Famagusta!”

The Malia Fountain House provides a perfect place to spend time in the wonderful old town of Famagusta. Doga and his family are helping with with whatever a guest can desire. Their litte Café is located only 2 minutes away from the house, and is the perfect place for having a coffee in between. The house itself provides guests with all facilities that one might need, a huge beautiful yard with Mediterranean plants and a balcony with wonderful view to the old gothic buildings of the old town. For getting to the beaches of Famagusta, you can just have a 15-minutes walk or use one of Doga’s bikes. As said, they provide you with everything that one might needs. Thank you Doga and your family! I’m for sure coming again! ;)
