Wow! What a hidden gem. Fantastic apartment only a short drive from famagusta old town. The owners were lovely and advised us on a place to eat which was fantastic. They also gave my children some mulberries from their garden which went down a treat! The apartment itself is spotlessly clean. Fresh white towels and lots of personal touches. Beds are comfy too. It's a shame we were only there for one night. Can't wait to come back again and stay for longer. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Very convenient to gazimagusa's main strip (salamis yolu/ismet inonu blvd) with all the restaurants bars etc. Massive supermarket 5 mins walk. City Mall 10 mins walk. 15 minutes walk to Othellos Castle and town centre. Bus stop which has bus services to Iskele is literally 2 minutes away. 10 minutes walk to Gazimagusas main bus terminal where you can go to Lefkoşa Girne and even Ercan Airport. Also less than 5 mins walk to Cyprus Central Hospital & Yaşam/life hospital (both have fertility services for anybody receiving fertity treatment). Despite being close to all amenities it is quiet area. You do hear the call to prayer from mosque but that never bothered me the windows are sound proof I could hardly hear anything. Most importantly the host was amazing made me feel welcomed and was very kind man who made sure I was safe as I was a solo female traveller. Fantastic stay will definitely stay again.

I was very lucky to find the Ertunalp apartment and I recommend it to everyone looking for a great and spacious place. The host was very attentive and welcomed me with great attention and care, even though my flight was delayed and I arrived late at night. The next day he was kind enough to show me the most charming places in town and take me to where I needed to be. Very happy and thank you for the welcome!

“Nice appartment”

I recently stayed at this apartment and overall, it was an interesting experience. The apartment was cheap and offered a decent price-quality ratio. The owner was kind enough to give me a ride to the bus terminal, which was very helpful and greatly appreciated. The apartment is described as having a garden view, it's a view of the street with a fig tree and a couple of flowers. The entrance is separate, which gives a sense of privacy. The cleanliness could have been better, although the towels and bed linens were clean. The shower was basic but functional, with a steady supply of warm water. The WLAN was excellent, which was a big plus for staying connected. Inside the apartment, there was a small section separated for the bedroom, which didn't have any windows but had an air conditioner that worked quietly and effectively. The location is quite convenient. If you exit the alley and turn left, you'll reach the KIBHAS bus terminal within 500 meters. From there, you can catch a bus to Ercan Airport for 260 Turkish lira (around 8 euros). KIBHAS has a website where you can book tickets in Turkish. If you continue walking, you'll reach the old city, a nice area for a stroll. Nearby the apartment, there's a city mall with a supermarket for groceries and a pastry shop with good baked goods. If you turn right from the alley instead of left towards the old city, you'll find a university with lots of greenery. I didn't visit the beach as I had just come from a hotel in Bafra where I had spent time sunbathing.
