Enjoying a peaceful location in the market town, this traditional guest house offers scenic views of Falkenstein Castle. Buffet breakfasts and free WiFi are available here. Maria's Restaurant Pension features bright rooms with classical-style décor. Each south-facing room is complete with a satellite TV and en suite bathroom. Some also include a private balcony. A hearty buffet breakfast is included in the price. The guest house makes the ideal base for hiking and cycling excursions in the Bavarian Forest. Visitors can also explore the medieval castle and hunting museum, which is a 10-minute walk away. Falkenstein bus stop is 750 metres from the property. Free on-site parking is available.

“Fair price, great breakfast”
Very fair price and both comfortable guest and breakfast rooms. The breakfast itself was excellent, with various fresh items including home-made cake.

Typical german "Pension" - seems to be established in the 70's and nothing big has happened since ;-) Room had a nice view toward west to the castle. Small bathroom but quite functional. Ok for a single night.

“An excellent spot to stay and discover the neighbourhood.”
The hotel is at a fantastic place, with an excellent view over the castle on the hillock. Entry to my room was perfectly explained. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Good internet connection. Commendable.
