“A Hidden Paradise in Fakarava”

This eco-lodge is the perfect place to relax by the sea, with beautiful views, sun beds, and kayaks for exploring. The hosting family is incredibly kind and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and privacy. Meals are homemade and delicious, shared with just a few guests for a cozy, communal feel. With only a handful of lodges, the atmosphere stays quiet and intimate. Airport transfer is included, which is a big plus given the remote location. A peaceful, authentic escape in paradise.

What a fantastic place to visit. Our hosts Rene and Valerie could not have been more friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and the homemade meals were exceptional. Loved it !!

This is really great accommodation! Very beautiful, nicely furnished. It looks much better in live than in photos. I didn't expect our chalet to be so luxurious. The food they provided was great quality, very tasty and abundant. We enjoyed terrace a lot, and view was great!

Food was home cooked and nice. Despite us being vegetarian and my husband having allergies, we were well catered for. Quite remote but we knew that in advance so not an issue. Any supplies you need, get onthe way. Free transfers arranged by host was a bonus. Trip arranged by host with good advice/communication around this.

Rene and Valerie were great hosts. They clearly take very good care in their property, including the bikes and kayaks. The location is far from town, but this did not bother us. You could go snorkeling and kayaking right at the property. Plus, the meals were outstanding. I have an allergy to nuts and they took great care in preparing wonderful meals without me having to worry.

Had a great stay at Fafapiti recently. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, the room was spacious and well-maintained, and the meals (particularly dinner) were excellent. Highly recommended.

Good selection of food at breakfast and excellent dinners. The bungalow was spacious and comfortably equipped with excellent quality materials & furniture. Because it's an eco lodge there's no toilet paper but we quickly got used to using the little shower instead. The beach area is really beautiful, tidy, with pic-nic tables, deck chair and the see is so clear that you can lots of fish without even needing a mask! Enough space to have a good swim too. The lodge is quite far from the main town, which makes it a little harder to explore the rest of the island, however René was very helpful in finding us an ebike rental and booking a boat excursion. René's lovely dogs & cats were a bonus!

The bungalow is lovely and very comfortable. The view is outstanding. The food served was always very good and plentiful. It was very quiet and tranquil. A lovely place to stay.

Beaute du lieu simplicity

The place is gorgeous. It's so relaxing. The rooms are large, airy and clean. I used the kayak on a few days, which was fun! The hosts are nothing short of excellent. The food is totally delicious and plentiful. I loved having home cooked food for every meal. They are very friendly and chatty, and more than happy to help organise activities (for me, that was diving!). The location is exactly as described, so be sure you are happy to be out of town in the peace and quiet...which I absolutely was! And a top tip to future travellers - depending on the time of year you visit, the sun rises early. Therefore the bedroom can be bright - I used my eye mask each morning to prolong my sleep.
