“One of the best stays of my holiday”
I loved everything about this place. The room was sparkling clean and bright and there were a lot of little extras that make a difference - a small sitting area, bedside lamps, bright overhead light. There was a nice communal inside sitting area and a great balcony, also a shared microwave and kitchen sink. The staff was exceptionally friendly and we had a great meal at the restaurant. The location is great - very central. Several supermarkets, fruit sellers and restaurants within easy walking distance. Nice neighbour hood (back streets) and lot of public transport that easily connects you to all areas.

Great place to spend your vacation in Gambia. Very clean and tidy rooms, nice garden and great food in their restaurant. Special praise goes to the people who work at this hotel. Kind, always smiling and ready to help. What else do you need for a good vacation?

The lunch and dinner options were all very tasty and came at a good price. The room had air-conditioning and a big. comfortable bed. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed chatting with them.

“Wonderful stay in quiet welcoming guesthouse in a non-tourist neighborhood, with amenities nearby.”
Quiet secluded guesthouse off the street with inner courtyard and small restaurant for residents. Many other guests working on humanitarian projects, like me. Nice encounters. Rooms with airco and fan, water boiler, soft sheets, towels changed often. Location convenient for daily taxi commute to Banjul. Supermarkets 15 minutes walking distance, minimarkets and street stalls closer by. Beach a 20 minute walk or a short taxi drive.

“Exceptional stay”
We had several nights in Pelican hotel. The staff was very attentive, they offer the variaety of breakfasts, lunch and dinner - everything what we tried was delicious. The room has been cleaned every day, the wifi connection very strong. Very convenient that we could pay with card, they also accepted euros and even made the currency exchange. 20 min walking distance from the beach, there are shops around.

Staff were very helpful and lovely. The AC in our room developed a fault and we were moved into another room when it was confirmed that the technician could not attend until the next day - this was very helpful. The location is great and the residence is very quiet. The communal areas are kept very clean and the housekeeping staff are always flexible about cleaning requests. There is also security on site. Overall its a lovely place to stay and good value for money.

“My third stay in the Pelican Residence was amazing. I will surely be back again.”
I visited this residence for the third time now and again i was not disappointed. This time there was a suprise: Every morning (really every morning) a beautiful bird was knocking at my window and woke me up. I loved this morning procedure. The staff was so friendly and did all efforts to make me feel comfortable and at home. Mr. Seidou nearly read my lips and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. All staff members are working on a pleasant stay at this residence. Thank you once again !
