The location is as good as you can get. The staff are really lovely. The self catering bungalows are much better than the basic bungalows.

Fabulous location right on the beach. Fajara is a lovely area away from the hustle and bustle but close in a taxi. Couple of decent restaurants nearby . Rooms are basic but very good value. Wonderful to run straight into the sea and play in the waves

Good location right on the beach. Spacious room. Hot shower is very nice. The hotel could use a general renovation. But then, the price would double or triple. As it is now the price/quality ratio is very good.

Great location by the beach

The location is great, I would say the best around there if you’re not a fan of crowds. It is right on the beach and has a lot of shade in the grounds and places to sit, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant and bar on site, though having to wait until 8.30 for breakfast is irritating. Bedside plugs is good. Free breakfast was ok though it didn’t say on booking.com that this was included in the price, which I suggest it should.

A lovely small hotel in the local style with accommodation in long- or roundhouses. Gorgeous location with long bar right on pretty Fajara beach. Great sunsets. Fresh, well-cooked food, plain but generous breakfast, helpful staff.

Perfect hotel, friendly staff and good management. Lovely place have a good relaxing time. For the price you Will not find any better.

It is a great budget hotel on the beach 🌞🌴⛱️ but the sea 🌊 was very noisy 🙄 our room was a little tired and could do with a bit of TLC, but the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Peaceful place to rest, swim and enjoy the ocean views, a little old fashioned, but it offers everything one might need! The workers were really helpful. I trully enjoyed staying there!

I've enjoyed my stayed and wishing to return again soon possible.

“Very underrated tropical garden vibes”

Stunning green garden with cute shell details. Super good beach for swimming and sports right in front of the door. Perfect for watching the sunset! The sounds of palmtrees, the ocean and birds are lovely! The perfect place to hang out all day! Rooms are either cute huts or spacious rooms with a little terrace in front. All a little rustic and slightly oldish bit still nice enough for the price. Beds where big and comfortable. WiFi is good but not available in all rooms. Breakfast is fine with eggs, bread, cheese, jam, 3 kinds of fruits, team and coffee. It’s locally run by a nice family of Gambians.

“Most underrated hotel EVER”

The area is a beautiful lush garden with small rustic huts or rooms. The sitting are is right on the beach under beautiful palmtrees and the sunset view is stunning! From the nature experience, it’s so amazing because it is in a touristic area without being touristic. The rooms have each a very large bed. We stayed in 3 rooms and all beds where comfortable and had a big mosquito net. Also a great wardrobe and spaces to put your things. A fridge and a full body mirror are nice to have as well. The bathrooms are rustic because sometimes the water drips because of the electric system in Gambia. It’s not the hotels fault if there are blackouts. WiFi works but not in all rooms. Breakfast always has 3 kinds of fruits, eggs, cheese, bread, jam, tea, coffe. It’s a decent buffet.

The garden is lovely, the beach right in front of the house is beautiful, the huts to chill in are great and comfortable, the money- value ratio is excellent for this area, run by a very friendly local owner. The beds where really big and nice. Good mosquito nets!

“Very satisfying stay”

This property is beautiful, we buy two more extra nights on site because beach, garden, caml area - everything is inviting for relaxation. Bungalow houses in garden with well working AC, comfortable bed, mosquito net. Shared area is full of gazebos in garden with beach view, where you can bring your breakfast or other meal. Good and inexpensive restaurant is on reception.

The view from the patio is amazing, just on the beach. The huts were comfortable, the breakfasts were very good, with fruits etc.
