Pinewood Motels is a family owned and operated motel. Just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Fairlie, it offers an ideal base to explore the many attractions Tekapo and the Mackenzie district has to offer. There are a wide range of rooms available, all with fast free unlimited WiFi, some Sky Tv channels, cooking facilities, bathrooms and outdoor seating areas. The motel's hosts, Dutchy and Mary-Jane are on hand to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable, and can provide information and bookings for most local attractions. Children can enjoy the playground. DVD players, DVDs and board games are available for loan from reception. Enjoy outdoor dining with a complimentary gas BBQ. A guest laundry with washer, dryer and a drying room for ski gear are available for an additional charge. Cot and high-chair are provided on request for free. For business and corporate clients, the property is centrally located between Timaru, Geraldine and Tekapo. Only a 25-minute drive from Lake Tekapo, Pinewood Motel Fairlie is 35 minutes’ drive from the Mt Dobson ski fields. Local activities include skiing, fishing and hiking.

We had a lovely overnight stay here at the Pinewood in Fairlie. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. The motel was very clean and comfortable with everything one might need for a quick meal if need be. We ate at the nearby Fairlie Pub, which was recommended and well worth it for the ale, food and banter. I think air freshener was a tad too liberally used in our room, but otherwise it was a perfect stay. Thank you.
