The view, the cleanness … the nice owner… all was perfect!

I strongly suspect this accommodation’s ratings are heavily inflated and misleading. As a long-term loyal senior user of Booking, I booked three rooms for two nights for six of my friends specifically because of the property’s high review scores on the platform, with a total cost of over 1,000 euros. However, upon arrival, we encountered severe issues. The mountain access road is extremely narrow. While driving up, our vehicle scraped repeatedly against roadside obstacles, causing extensive damage to the car paint, with repair costs amounting to 500 euros. We were not informed in advance that guests cannot drive directly to the lodging. We had to park our car first and wait for the hotel staff to pick us up. Their shuttle vehicle only carries 2 people per trip, so our group of six needed three separate transfers. Each round trip took nearly an hour. Notably, the hotel’s own shuttle car was also covered in scratches and dents from constant scraping on the narrow road. After enduring the arduous transfer, we still had to carry all our luggage and walk uphill to the accommodation. What is more disappointing is that the actual scenery was vastly different from the promotional photos. The surrounding area is desolate and isolated, which made all six of my friends refuse to check in on the spot and insist on returning downhill immediately. Only after repeated negotiations with the driver did the property finally arrange transportation to send us back down the mountain. There are no restaurants, shops or basic amenities within walking distance of the lodging, and no public transportation is available at night, making it completely inaccessible and extremely inconvenient. Additionally, the iconic mountain views, the main highlight that attracted our booking, are heavily blocked by overhead power lines. Despite us never checking in or using any accommodation services, the property refuses to issue any full or partial refund for our two-night, three-room reservation.

This was the perfect vacation with an amazing view, great food and service. The host was so accommodative and helped us coordinate the shuttle service with the bus timing. Would love to visit again!

“Amazing view, peaceful place, and atipic reachability”

The location is perfect, atop of a mountain, with an amazing view over the Como lake and mountains around. Very atipic, the location is unreachable by car, at least not recommended. They have their own cars very narrow and scratched :)) to carry passengers and luggage from the parking in Molina to the booking location. Don't be afraid, they are professional drivers on extremely narrow pathways in a medieval city and very steep hill roads. Once you reach the location, the view is amazing, peace for the soul. And the girls are very kind and helpful, we were very happy overall.

the hotel is on top of a mountain and you are not able to reach there with your own car due to narrow roads. you stuck in the hotel, no way to go out for dinner except the drop off service of the hotel, the car was a little bit bigger than my suitcase.

The breakfast was great and hearty and you can order it the night before. A nice selection of food and it was served warm to our table. The location is extremely beautiful. This place offers great views over to the Como Lake and surrounding mountains and the jacuzzi is a nice addition for a relaxing afternoon/evening.

Stunning views of Lake Como! Our room had views out of every window. The hosts were brilliant and easy to contact even when we needed a last minute shuttle. The food was also delicious and very reasonable.

Everything was perfect. The hotel was very comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I really enjoyed my stay.

It’s a really great place to relax. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The view is beautiful, the staff are very friendly, and the jacuzzi is amazing. The food is also very good. We definitely recommend this place!

Gianluca was very helpful. Room was nice. View is amazing. Just for info the shuttle service from the village to the hotel is because you go through a tiny medieval village and the alleys are so small you can only get through in a fiat panda. Not an issue as gianluca is a master at getting through these. Only issue we had was we had to leave at 4.30am before he started again so we had to walk down the mountain in the dark. However Gianluca drove our bags down the evening before for us and showed us a lit shortcut once we got into the village. Was a nice walk down though even if the missus didn't approve.

Everything! The location, the owner and the staff, the view, the apartment, the breakfast, the services and the experience riding a car that driving through the tiny street up to the guest house.
