We had a really lovely stay at this hotel in Lake Como. The location is beautiful : quiet, private, and very convenient, close to Como while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself has a very atmospheric and elegant vibe, which made the whole experience even more special. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay, always polite and helpful. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast: everything tasted fresh and homemade, which made it feel much more authentic and high quality compared to a typical hotel breakfast. Our lake-view room was spacious and had a stunning view of the lake, especially during sunset and early morning. Another big plus was the private parking inside the hotel with a secure garage gate, which made everything very comfortable and stress-free. Overall, though, it’s a beautiful and highly recommended stay with a great atmosphere, excellent staff, and an ideal location for exploring Lake Como.

Everything was just wonderful! Staying at Domus Plinii was such an amazing experience. It’s hard to choose just one thing we loved the most. The customer service was impeccable, the breakfast was rich and delicious, the rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable and the view from the hotel is breathtaking, you would feel like being in a movie. Very many thanks to all the staff and specially to Francesca, Claire, Martina they are the soul of the place. Can’t wait for our next stay.

Space,location, facilities it may be a little away from Como centre but that’s a bonus don’t be afraid of the little roads everyone gets along sharing space The view is excellent and water taxi/ferry service right outside its end of season but still worth the visit

I loved this place from the moment we arrived, fantastic position- literally 2 steps from the lake, really fantastic staff and fantastic room ( dig the vintage style) .Shame we weren't staying longer and really really hope to come back in the summer to experience the beach and pool, and more!

The location was beautiful. Right near the lake and access to a ferry crossing. Lovely garden and pool - great setting for breakfast and dinner. Everything we needed in our room, a pool, great staff and easy car parking.

We did our wedding at Como and Domus Plini was our “base of operations”. We got an update to the best room on top floor, that was really amazing! But even without this fact the place is really impressive, almost perfect. It’s away from all the touristic crowds, close to the water and have got own dock in case you want to move by boat, there is also a ferry station very close. It’s beautiful building with impressive facilities, nice garden with pool, own parking space with electric chargers. Rooms ate stylish and gave me 70s vibes which I like a lot. Great restaurant with best food, you don’t need to out they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff was very-very helpful, professional and polite, I must say Grazie Mille one more time to the whole team! One important thing, photos here do not give a full picture how beautiful and nice the whole property and rooms are, just trust me with that!

“Very Bad”

Despite our reservation made through Booking.com, they charged us an additional 54 euros upon checkout. Even though we protested for a long time, they said that the prices given to us by Booking.com were not valid and did not concern them. Unfortunately, this is the first time we have encountered this type of hotel. They unfairly charged us an extra 54 euros. Not only that, but many things were very bad. The room they sold us as a lake view suite was very old, had no view, and only had a small side view of the lake. This room, which we reserved for 388 euros per night, was not worth the price. The breakfast was unbelievably bad, there was no service staff, one person was trying to take orders but he wasn't even in the breakfast room. We had to go to the reception twice to ask for tea. If you leave your room after 11am, they charge you extra. So, check-out time is not 11am, but 11am, be careful. After 8 PM, there's no one at the hotel for check-in, so you have to do everything yourself. In short, never stay at this hotel; it shouldn't even be your last resort. We had a very bad experience; don't let that happen to you.

“Affordable luxury with Lake Como view”

1. The location was superb! It’s one of the rare places where you can drive down to the lake level (many other villas are accessible only via lifts/funiculars) 2. We absolutely loved the pool, so much so that we didn’t even use the lake access! 3. The building had character, yet was pretty well-equipped.
