Set on a former farm in Horne village on Funen Island, these apartments include free Wi-Fi access and private kitchen facilities. Faaborg town centre is 6 km away. “Tranquil, relaxed, beautiful natural surroundings, historic buildings.”
The outdoor garden/patio area shared by guests for eating and relaxing is very green, quiet and spacious, a mix of small chairs and tables, trees and meadows. Being able to eat meals we'd bought or prepared outside was wonderful. We could relax in the clean and quiet fresh air. If we'd had young kids, they could have played outside without disturbing anyone. The hosts helped us book a Flex taxi (cheaper than normal taxi) to the nearest town to meet our bus. The nearest supermarket is only 5mn walk away and has a huge range of fresh and frozen food and a fresh bakery. All you need for self-catering. Although there are many rooms (60 beds in all), each one is different, they are located in different former farm buildings, and the impression is of cosy seclusion.
