Featuring free access to a fitness centre, this hotel is situated right by Faaborg Fjord. It offers excellent views from the terrace bar and restaurant. Hotel Faaborg Fjord’s rooms also have cable TV and a private bathroom with a shower. WiFi internet access is free throughout the hotel. “Awful experience - awful service - would not recommend at all.”
No tea or coffee available for guests - machines in lobby switched off at 2pm each day. No information about spa use or dinner reservation in restaurant given on arrival by terse receptionist. No swim in the pool available to paying guests without paying a considerable additional fee to book 4 hours spa use - not much use when you arrive at 5.30pm for a one-night stay. Basic room with small balcony, dated bathroom. No tea/coffee making facilities & no kettle in room. When we asked at reception for dinner in the restaurant that evening, we were told we would have to wait an hour for a tableto be available. After waiing an hour and a half for a table to be free, we asked at reception a 2nd time and were curtly told "there is no table for you, you will have to drive into town to find something to eat there! Appalling service! All restaurants we asked at in town had by now finished serving for the evening, so we ended up back at the hotel lobby with a takeaway pizza & ate it there at 9.30pm in the evening. For an expensive 3* spa hotel, I was expecting a little bit of luxury, but it was just about the worst hotel service & experience we've ever had. I emailed the hotel requesting some compensation which was acknowledged, but nothing more was done. I am still emailing them requesring some recompense.

“Nice stay nice atmosphere!”
It’s a nice renovated hotel with excellent sea view. Comfortable room. The bathroom need an upgrade ! Really really good Frellsen coffee in the lounge for free to enjoy! Breakfast very good everything we needed, the bread was a bit dry! All in all a very good experience. The reception did not see the extra bed we booked but it was quickly sorted out with a smile.

Excellent hotel with fantastic breakfast buffet and lovely staff. Loads of parking places, strong Wi-Fi in the entire place. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

“Great!”
Great hotel! Good value for money and would love to stay there again. Travelled for work and had a truck but the outdoor parking was spacious. Would also go here with my family. Very nice views!

“OK. Lovely town and hotel OK too but far from town so you need a car or bike.”
Spacious, nice rooms, great food in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Charming restaurant staff too and great views from the main restaurant.
