Set at the foot of the infamous Eyjafjallajökull Glacier, Welcome Lambafell offers log cabin-style rooms, an outdoor hot tub and furnished terrace. Parking and public area WiFi are free. Welcome Lambafell’s rooms provide views of the Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers or the Atlantic Ocean. Bathrooms are private or shared. A free geothermal, outdoor swimming pool, Seljavallalaug, is a 20-minute walk away. Just off the Ring Road, Welcome Lambafell is a 10-minute drive from Skógafoss Waterfall. The guest lounge features a TV and a fireplace.

“A little piece of paradise”
The location was astonishing. Its just beside a stream and small drive to the interiors can get you to one of the most ancient lagoon in iceland. No matter which side you look, the entire place is so photogenic. Check-in and check-out was simple and smooth. Good spread of breakfast and very nicely organized.

The picture above of the log cabin is a scam. This building is locked up. We were given a chalet 500m away.

“Never again”
The room was spacious with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was fine, though the “staff” got really upset if you arrived early, even though all it meant was they need to put a couple of plates out, and that seemed to be an issue.
