We stayed the night before going to Monet's Garden at Giverny. The hotel is well positioned for seeing Evreux - easy walking to the restaurants in the centre as well as the main sites, large Cathedral, Hotel de Ville, Clock tower etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was good - fruit, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, bread, large selection jams, eggs. coffee, tea. There was secure parking at the hotel for 6 euros or free public car park opposite the hotel.

The hotel is run down. Needs major refurbishment.

“The loveliest hotel with lots of character”

Lovely spacious room, very comfortable bed. Fabulous en-suite with excellent shower and facilities. The hair dryer was very good and it was great to have a large mirror and also a magnifying mirror in the en-suite. Adequate size mirrored wardrobe in bedroom with bedside tables and 2 chairs.

Love this hotel, its had a bit of a makeover and every room is fresh and comfortable. It's so handy for us to break up the long journey from Wales to Limoges.

Very nice, spacious 1st-floor room in a modern annexe with a large and comfortable bed. The spiral stairs were OK, but a bit awkward with luggage, and unnecessary we thought, in a modern block with plenty of room to design normal stairs in. The main building in lovely but the interior is a little drab, but breakfast was good (an egg boiler is always a joy!) and inexpensive.

Difficult to find even with Google Maps. Did not take breakfast. Shower floor was extremely slippery and room was quite cold.

Excellent location and ideal for us on our way from Calais to the Loire. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Handy parking on site.

Excellent location right in town centre with all shops and good selection of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Also the possibility to leave car in secure car park. The extra fee was worth it for peace of mind. Comfortable mattress.

Good location. Free car parking across the road. Helpful women on reception. Evreux a good place to stay overnight with a number of restaurants. Le Petit Bruit de L'oeuf Dur is definitely worth a try. Book in advance for Friday night.
