Overview
Atheras Hotel, located in the centre of Evdilos town, only 50 metres from the nearest beach, offers accommodation with reception service, and features spa facilities. All well appointed rooms have balcony and feature air-condition, TV, free WIFI internet and refrigerator. Evdilos, one of the most traditional Ikarian villages, is situated in the northern part of the island, and is the second port and capital of the island. The picturesque port with the old mansions and narrow roads and the traditional houses, is an ideal base for wonderful excursions into the Ikarian countryside.

“Bijou room with good views”
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we needed to leave our bags due to awkward arrival and departure times - due to the ferry schedules. The room had been recently refurbished and had a lovely view. It wasn't far up from the harbour area.

“Pleasant stay”
The location is excellent and the hotel standards are very high considering that hotel in small aegean islands normally are low. The staff is very helpful and provide you with all details needed.

“Perfect location to start your Ikarian holiday”
We had a loft room (studio), which is probably the biggest room in the hotel. We had two beautiful balconies where we could have breakfast and look at the port.There was absolutely no noise. The air-conditioning was fab. The bathroom was huge, plenty of natural light. The shower has room for three people (but I am not suggesting anything...). The rooms, two of them, were super clean, all the furniture was new. There was a ,kitchenette but they should double the hot plates (there is only one...which limits your options), and a few more utensils would have been better (I.e. a bread knife, a Cork screw, a decent chopping board...) but those missing things could be easily arranged and they did not spoil anything - they are all suggestions for the manager. The hotel has a lovely clean swimming pool, a very well maintained garden with seating areas. There is nearby street parking too. The hotel is 200 metres from the harbour but screened from the noise due to other few houses in between. One of the supermarkets is 50 metres from the hotel. There are several shops, bars & restaurants all in walking distance. Some shops work odd hours, but they have everything. We had a lovely stay, and we would come back tomorrow for a longer stay if we could. This is a great place to start your holiday in Ikaria.
