very cosy place, room is clean and comfortable and the host is very kind. Free parking outside the house, 20 min driving to Voss center. Highly recommend to those who take road trip in Norway with car.

I had a wonderful stay here! The host was extremely welcoming, the accommodation was warm and cozy, and the dog was so adorable. It was fascinating to see the marks left by guests from all over the world on the world map. Unfortunately, due to the short duration of my trip, I couldn't enjoy the lovely breakfast. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I get the chance!

“Beautiful homestay”
Absolutely loved our stay at Bridget’s home! We booked to have dinner there as well and the dinner and breakfast were amazing! Position is strategic, near Voss, an 1:20 from. Flåm and 1:30 from Bergen!

It is warm and an excellent experience. The hotel is located in a village with amazing natural views and a shining river. I can enjoy the cleanest Norway air and water. Meanwhile, the room is quite modern and spacious. Walk to the Railway/bus station in 5min. More importantly, the staff here is so friendly and helpful. You can feel like in a warm family atmosphere. Appreciation letter to the staff: When I was on the train to Bergen, you took my luggage to the station so I didn't need to wait for the next train. I will remember your kindness and hospitality for my life, which has become a warm memory of my first Norway journey. It is appreciated that you can host me for a day and give me a lot of help. Wish happiness is with you all along.

“Cozy, relaxed, excellent bathroom and facilities”
Beautiful family home, very good facilities, wonderful pub/cafe attached. Bridget was a super star host that looked after me very well. She even picked up a camping gas for me in the local town. If you want a faceless corporate hotel with zero personality look elsewhere - if you want a super cozy, relaxed atmosphere with a charming host and decent breakfast - come here. I’ll be back!!

It was nice to stay in a family home and get to know a little more about Norwegian life. We had a delicious meal in the evening with Bridget and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. Bridget was welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed our first experience of a Homestay.

The rooms and the house are very nice, full of love. The furniture and the decorations are unique, made with creativity. The owner, Bridget has been nothing but kind and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful, there’s a lot of variety, everybody can find their favourite foods. We also enjoyed talking with the other guests and Bridget during breakfast very much.

The property has a homely feeling and it is located very close to the train station . Voss is also not very far. We highly appreciated that the host actually picked us up from the train station at 2am and shared some informative conversations with us on local staff

“Lovely home stay with Bridget and family.”
We had a lovely stay with Bridget and her family. Very comfortable bedroom with private shower room. Bridget cooked us a delicious evening meal and it was great to be able to chat over dinner with her, her family and the other guest. Breakfast was excellent with home-made bread. Great location for our onward journey to Bergen.

“Great stay in family guesthouse”
Being welcomed into the host’s home by all the family. Having dinner with the family was really lovely and also delicious. The room was very comfortable and the house is a short 3 - 5 minute walk to the train station where it is just 18 mins to Voss. The host was very responsive to messages and allowed an early check-in.

“Pleasant B&B in a big family house”
Adequate room in a big family house with a real lived-in feel. Excellent supper ready for us on arrival after 20:00 and we really enjoyed a very good family breakfast with other guests in the morning. Very quiet village and only 5 minutes walk from the station.

“Perfect home stay”
Perfect home stay, had a wonderful time with Bridget and her family including a Sunday dinner and entertaining conversation. It was a real experience, not an impersonal hotel but a complete immersion into family life. I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Double Room with Private Bathroom
This room has a full bed (160 cm width), which can be converted to two single beds. It has a comfortable seat which can be converted into an uncomfortable single bed. For children, a cot or foldable bed can be provided. It is at the back of the house, and has no view at all. The private bathroom is ensuite and newly renovated. The kitchen and other amenities are shared with other guests and with the host.
Double Room with Shared Bathroom
This room has a full bed (140 cm width), ideal for one person or two adults who are comfortable sleeping close together, a wardrobe and a desk. It is at the front of the house, overlooking the village. The bathroom, which is just across the hallway, is shared with one other guest room. The kitchen and other amenities are shared with other guests and with the host.
Economy Quadruple Room with Shared Bathroom
This room has a double bed (160 cm width), bunk beds, an open wardrobe and a small desk. When required, the double bed quickly converts into two single beds. The room is big enough for a family with young children, but too small for four adults. The bunk bed is only 180 cm long, somewhat shorter than a standard bed. This room is at the front of the house, overlooking the village. The bathroom, which is shared with one other guest room, is just across the hallway. The kitchen and other amenities are shared with other guests and with the host.
