“Exceptional”
Great stay for relaxation, even the smallest detail was taken care of. Kids will love it, especially the pool and the toys. The neighbourhood is so quiet and the main square of the village (just 2 minutes away) has everything you need: amazing local restaurants, caffe/bar, pharmacy, mini market and bakery. A fantastic choice for couples and families. Thank you Ioannis for making our trip memorable!

“Peaceful Escape Near Kalamata with Warm Local Charm”
We had a good stay at The Backyard in Kalamata. The house itself was beautifully designed, with a spacious living area that made us feel right at home. The garden was a true gem—lush and peaceful, complete with a private pool that offered the perfect spot to relax and recharge. Communication with the owner was smooth and friendly from start to finish, which made everything easy and stress-free. His thoughtful gestures, like welcoming us with sesame cookies and local olive oil, added such a personal touch and made us feel genuinely cared for. We particularly appreciated the quiet location, set outside the city and nestled among locals—it gave us a chance to experience the authentic charm of the area. Kalamata was only about a 20-minute drive away, so we could enjoy the city without sacrificing the tranquility of our retreat. This stay was the perfect balance of comfort, hospitality, and local flavor. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful escape with heart.

This really is a fantastic holiday place, exceptional in all areas. The host was really helpful, the village is really nice and close to some beautiful beaches. The property itself is amazing, great pool area and lovely inside with everything needed. Couldn’t recommend this place more! 10/10

“Paradise on Earth”
The place was everything we needed for a relaxing vacation! Quiet, clean, fully organised, with a beautiful back yard and a clean swimming pool. A lot of toys/activities for the kids were available and you could connect to the built-in speakes to play your music both inside the house and at the yard. The village was very traditional with the main square only 2 minutes away and a deer farm only 5 minutes away. A lot of options for beaches close by and only 15 minutes away from the most impressive archaeological site in Greece, Ancient Messini. Overall, we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay!

“I would definitely recommend this place for families.”
The place was clean and beautiful. We had everything we needed for a comfy stay in the house. The pool was nice and it was heated so we could be in the pool early in the morning and late in the evening.

“Lovely house in the heart of the small town. the name says it all - its backyard is its jewel.”
Lovely house in the heart of the small town. the name says it all - its backyard is its jewel with citrus and walnut trees, little veggie garden and of course the pool. you have everything you need for a pleasant stay in the house and even morning coffee and delicious dinner in short walk distance. And the host left some local treats for us 🥰
