“Fine for an overnight stop”

Hotel is located close to the main Pamplona road - convenient but you need to keep the windows closed. It is not close to the pretty Basque village of Etxalar (5kms), which is worth a visit. Plenty of parking. Rooms have recently been refurbished, spacious and comfortable but entirely characterless, with blank walls and bland decor.

We stayed here for 1 nights on Thursday 25/9/25, We booked here as a late decision the night before and are so pleased we did. Location is off a fairly major road, but we had booked one of the rooms with a balcony which face the back of the hotel, so this wasn’t an issue. That said the aircon in the rooms worked well and there would be no need to have the window open if you were at the front, so I don’t see traffic as a noise issue. The decor of the public areas of the hotel is kind of hunting lodge esc, which looks nice. Check in was smooth and easy (despite us arriving before check in was available/the right staff were there) All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. The room itself was spacious, extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. The Hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The restaurant was not open the night we stayed, however the bar had a good range of dishes (though basic) and we had a very good meal in there. All in we were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely use the hotel as a stop off point if we are ever in need a hotel in that region. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel.

Convenient location for travelling across French/Spanish border. Nestled in valley amongst lush greenery and river. Fabulous traditional and old property yet renovated inside.

The hotel is easy to find right by a main road. There is ample free parking available. The staff are excellent and speak very good English. The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant was closed the night we stayed however the cafe served excellent food and was very reasonably priced.

An excellent variety of local produce for breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the evening we arrived, but the bar served a very good selection of meals so it didn't impact our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The locality of the hotel is wonderful. We had a terrace room which overlooked the river and the hills. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Spain as its location is close to the auto route, yet very tranquil.

I like the location. It is nestled in the middle of mountains. It is peaceful, quiet . . . and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Easily accessible and excellent welcome. Comfy beds and excellent shower. Room overlooked Bidasoa river. Cafe served very good food and the service was friendly and efficient.
