Nice little B and B. Rustic and quiet. Parking for the car is on the side of the road but seems safe enough. Room was clean and rustic as I said. The walk into town is about 10 or 15 minutes. Up hill on the way back but take your time and its not too bad. Our host was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. All in all I recommend.

“A very pleasant place to stay!”
We had a great stay at Sheerwood and really enjoyed this accommodation. Very amiable and hospitable hosts. It is comfortable, well equipped and clean - with a very much enjoyable balcony (depending on the weather :-) ). It's a bit outside of the center but easily reachble on foot. In turn you get a parking slot which would be hard or impossible in the center. One critics I would have: the bed was not as I would wish it to be - at my age important to feel in good shape in the morning :-). An investment in a new mattress would really pay off.
