Villa Cassandra was beautiful Sabine and Edward and Oscar were great hosts. Breakfast was delicious with home made treats and jams. We had rain so didn't get to enjoy outside as much as we'd hoped but there is always next time, we will definitely visit again. There is so much to see and do in the area, the location is great for exploring the Loire valley from Tours to Orleans.

We were warmly welcomed by Edouard and Sabine, who offered us an Iced Tea by the Pool! Our room had a very comfortable double bed, and electric blinds to keep out the early morning light. The bathroom was to a high standard, and the air conditioning was excellent. Sabine kindly reserved a dinner table for us in the local village. Breakfast was delicious, with home made jams and local honey! And Oscar the dog welcomed us too!

Hosts were super lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast they prepared for us each morning was stunning - fresh breads, croissants, jams, fruit, etc. Property is gorgeous and spacious, with lots of room for relaxing outside and a pool.

Lovely setting with wonderful accommodation. Our hosts were charming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble in the care they offered. A lovely home-cooked meal was offered to us and breakfast was amazing.

Everything about our stay was excellent from the quality of the accommodation through to the exceptionally helpful warm and friendly hosts. Sabine booked us into the local creperie which had good food and hosts who were great fun. The following day she found us a wonderful restaurant with excellent food. The gardens are beautiful and the pool very inviting.

Excellent location in the quiet countryside but with easy access to historic chateaux. Very welcoming and friendly owners who were attentive to our needs. Lovely breakfast and comfortable, roomy accommodation.

Sabine and her husband are wonderful hosts that couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfasts were so good with changing homemade additions. The room is comfortable and offers enough privacy. There’s not a great deal close by so be prepared to drive or for a good walk however, should you choose to take a walk down by the river we were spoiled with wildlife. In 1 hour we saw 2 kingfishers, 3 red squirrels, a fox and a hare! It was probably one of the highlights of our trip. Also check out Les Roseaux Pensants in Cormery, a 5 minute drive or 30/40 minute walk.

Breakfast was great, included everything you would need to see you through to lunch and get you on the road for the day. Set in the beautiful gardens enjoying the tranquility The room was beautiful, set in the eaves. There was all the amenities you could want for and nothing was too much for Sabine our host. The bathroom was great, fantastic shower. We also got to make use of the pool which was great after a long day of traveling. The decor is beautifully curated with lots of love pieces. All in all we highly recommend and would stay here again.

“Lovely stay in what felt like a home”

The breakfast, which was served outside, was a typical French breakfast of bread and pastries, with cheese and delicious homemade jams. The hotel only has 2 rooms, but you don't hear people in the other room. The hotel is a very short ride to the town, and is located opposite a bit field, and is quite tranquil. We never hired a car, and this was not a problem as the hosts gave the number of a cab company who took us to the town for dinner one evening. The hosts live in the property also and was contactable if we needed anything, and they were absolutely lovely! Thank you

Everything!! Booked this by mistake but turned out to be one of the best places we have stayed in a long while. Fantastic location and setting with exceptional pool and garden area, excellent air-con. Sabine was excellent and made us feel very welcome in her home. Arranged a booking in a local restaurant on our first night which turned to be amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough. 11 out of 10!! Loved Oscar.
