Overview
Set in the mountain village of Esterri d’Àneu, Pensió La Creu is within 20 km of Baqueira Beret and Espot Ski Resorts. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Pensió La Creu is a charming stone building with simple, functional design. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, central heating and a private bathroom. Some rooms have views of the River Noguera Pallaresa. A buffet breakfast is served at La Creu, and guests can enjoy drinks and snacks in the café-bar. There is also an outdoor terrace, open in summer. La Creu Pension is located just 16 km from the beautiful Aigüestortes i Sant Maurici National Park, ideal for hiking or mountain biking. The guest house provides free storage for bicycles, motorbikes and ski equipment.

Everything was as expected, or even better. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and received a room with beautiful views of the river. Its location is also ideal, being very close to the town's main street. The room had everything we needed and was cleaned daily by the staff. Another great advantage was that the hotel is pet-friendly, and our German Shepherd was more than welcome to join us on our holiday. The breakfast was a delicious open buffet with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, it was excellent value for the price, and we are already planning to return.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The establishment is situated well close to the center, and if you are lucky you will have the balcony facing the river.

Four years ago, whilst staying at this hotel, I had a mountaineering accident and fractured my kneecap. I was wonderfully looked after whilst I organised my return to the UK. This time round, spending a week in the hotel for work purposes, I was cared for equally well. It's a family-run hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I was working online and the wifi connection was strong enough for Zoom calls and the surrounding mountains have plenty of hikes. Despite being very cold outside my room was comfy, spacey warm, with views over the river. Finally, I'd say this is probably one of the best-value hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommended.

The service and attention received from all staff made us feel very welcome immediately and for the duration of our stay. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and that was very much appreciated. The breakfast was really tasty using good quality produce and again, the staff were so attentive, we definitely ate more than enough every morning! Choices of sandwich, plus toast and jam, plus croissant, juice and coffee, and all included in the price, which was very cost effective! The location was beautiful, right on the main street, close to the supermarket, church, bars and restaurants, and just a few minutes walk from the bus stop but still so peaceful and quiet. The most impressive part of the location however was the scenery, we were lucky enough to have a river and mountain view from the window. The room was really comfortable, clean, warm, and with all the necessary amenities for a really comfortable stay e.g soap, shampoo, hairdryer, towels, TV, coat hangers etc

“Good Budget Hotel”
A clean, convenient hotel in a beautiful town, close to many restaurants and pubs, and a short drive to Espot and all the hiking trails. Breakfast is basic. The owner is very caring. We had a pleasant stay.
