We weren’t supposed to do a stop during our road trip but things happens for a reason and we were absolutely stocked to stay at the Spot! Incredible place, full of good vibes, very functional and the host is the man! Rojer is always available and gave us so many good tips to enjoy the place to the fullest! Great location, very clean rooms and surroundings and the owner is totally the best! Very welcoming atmosphere, the kitchen was clean and well equipped and the location is just couple hundred meters from the beach. Will be staying here again :)

Very close to the beach. The hostel has been built with love. The hostel owner was very friendly and talkative. Free coffee every morning. Free drinking water.

The spot is a good place to stay, it is quite, has a very well equipped kitchen, rooms are nice and the upstairs area is fantastic to do yoga or just relaxed in the hammocks.

The Spot is like a mini retreat spa. Easy access to Bejuco Beach, less than 5 minute walk. Roger is a great host, very accommodating. Always looking for ways to upgrade the guests experience. Highly recommend.

“Amazing place, super relaxed beautiful and close to the beach”
Such a great location, so close to the beach. The hosts were super accommodating, we had arrived earlier than check it but they got the room ready for us. Beautiful place to stay felt super calming and relaxed. Even after we checked out they let us use the outdoor shower as it was our last night. Room was super spacious and comfortable. Garden is beautiful and they have a roof terrace with hammocks. Gave great recommendations for food and we had the best meal we'd eaten in Costa Rica thanks to their recommendations.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere in the hostel and really enjoyed the billiard table, the hammocks and the garden. It is also very close to the beach where you can go surfing. Roger is one of the best hosts we ever had, always helpful and friendly. For us, this was the best hostel we had in costa rica.

“Perfect beach hostel”
The location is perfect, just by the sea and close to a supermarket and restaurants. The kitchen is facilitated with all the amenities. The owner really took care of is, and when we had electric problems he was on top of it and fixed it asap and even gave us a discount for the trouble we went through.

“A+ surfer's hostel in Esterillos Oete”
Nice spot, but currently quite empty due to the pandemic, it seems it has been a while since anyone stayed here. Roger, the owner, is nice and accommodating though. The property has a nice-sounding guitar in great shape, a slackline, hammocks, and many more things. The family room was great, spacious, and the A/C worked wonderfully. Super close to the beach. Secure parking as well.
