“Wonderfull!”

Lovely vibe, cute rooms, good shower, pretty pool, and possible to have a massage! All in all, we had a wonderfull stay!

We arrived late in the evening and after a slight struggle with the language barrier and resolving an issue with a room (a different room was booked but the replacement was perfectly fine). The staff was very welcoming and really friendly, the place as a whole had a charm. But the best surprise was a really good restaurant which is part of Villa Nour, we ended up eating twice there! Breakfast was great as well. Villa is perfectly located if you are travelling with a car, just a couple of km away from Essaouira old town.

“Amazing staff, beautiful stay”

We had such a lovely stay here, Zahira was so helpful, we couldn’t have asked for a better host. The onsite restaurant was absolutely amazing and the food so delicious. The pool was lush and just what we needed. There was the sound of birds chirping on the site and the many tortoises was a cute bonus. 10/10

“Rude”

We stayed Two nights at Villa Nour , but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Check-in was poorly organized — no one gave us any proper explanation or welcome. During check-out, again, no one was present at the réception desk so we gave our roomkeys to the staff and left. Then, an hour later, while we were already driving to our next destination, we suddenly got a rude, aggressive phone call saying we hadn’t paid. We were shocked. We had booked through Booking.com and obviously assumed payment was already handled. While we were contacting Booking to clarify things, the woman started sending us threatening messages. She threatened to send our passports to the police, lied about having camera footage, and hung up the phone multiple times while we calmly tried to explain that of course we would pay — we just needed to make sure it was done correctly through Booking. Her name is Zahira Zitout, and she was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Honestly, we’ve never experienced anything like it. To make things worse, on Saturday night they hosted a loud party right under our room, apparently something they do every weekend, with music blasting until late at night. This was never mentioned anywhere — not on Booking, not at check-in. When we politely asked what time the music would stop, we were told “by 11 PM.” At 11:30, it was still going full volume. After sending several messages (which were ignored at first), we finally got a short apology, but the music continued for almost another hour. No respect, no consideration, no apology the next day. Having a party is fine — but lying, threatening, and treating paying guests this way is completely unacceptable. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t the first time. The problem is not the guests — it’s her. A real shame, because the place itself could be nice, but as long as this person manages it, I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Villa Nour.

“Beautiful property, with a beautiful garden, nice pool, and great staff”

Quiet beautiful property, enjoyed our stay. Nice pool and nice restaurant, just to note that we did not have a car and was able to get taxis easily to town, but I think the experience would be much better with a car.

Review (5/10): Our experience at the villa was mixed. The room was clean, but unfortunately we couldn’t swim because the pool was dirty, with leaves and debris falling from the trees. We understand that Essaouira is windy, but we expected more effort from the staff to keep it usable. Breakfast was also uncomfortable, as the manager was loudly scolding the staff while guests were having their meal. This gave the impression of internal conflicts, even though the manager remained friendly with restaurant clients. On the positive side, the food at the restaurant was good, and we enjoyed our dinner there. However, we didn’t appreciate the lack of trust towards guests. At first, we were told we could add our meals to the room bill and pay at checkout, since we were staying two nights. Later, a staff member came back to say it wasn’t possible due to past issues with clients. This left us with a negative impression. Overall, the villa has potential, but the service and management need serious improvement.

Everything was great, i would love to thank Adil and Zahira for their hospitality and generosity. We will comeback again for sure.

The hotel is on the main road so easy to spot. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were so friendly especially Mohamed and Zahira. The restaurant has a large menu and the food is really good.

Great staff, restaurant and the garden behind the villa was so nice. Taxis to the city would be very frequent and only a 10 min drive from the medina.
