“10/10”
This was the First time I have done a Hostel. Was a bit worried. But anise hope thats how he spells it sorry if not. Especially along with all other Team members were awesome and made all anxieties go. Being in early 50's and sharing a mixed dorm with younger people was daunting but everyone was great and was great vibe

This place has good travel atmosphere and it's easy to meet people. I guess this is the reason why it has so high rate on booking, otherwise I can't find and explanation... Location it's also good. And breakfast was better than expected and nice moment to chat with other guests.

Great sociable hostel with plenty of space to chill on the beautiful rooftop or meet people in the common area at the ground floor during free tea hour or breakfast. Dorms and bathrooms are clean and spacious, and it's perfectly located right at the center of the Essaouira medina making it a great spot to explore. Felt right at home and would have stayed forever if I could have! I'll be back!

Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, this has a special chilled vibe and the staff are amazingly, kind and so hospitable, I felt so relaxed and welcomed there, we had a private room which was absolutely stunning

“This will be my Essaouira home!”
We stayed in the apartment on the roof, which was just perfect. Had everything we needed and was good value for a Private apartment!! Breakfast was perfect, free tea and biscuits at 6pm, one of the regular guests gave us a music tour of the city which was just incredibe. We also did a hammam and got 200 dirham off because we were staying in the hostel, so they have great connections like that! Great people, great art, great vibes. We will be back!

“The best hostel in Morocco!”
If I could give this place 11 I would. Everything was amazing from the friendly staff who greet you by name, writing it on a blackboard with your country of origin, to the building itself and the careful creation of a sense of community and belonging. Tea at 6pm is a great way to meet people and make plans for the evening. The suggestion of Chez Omar for a meal, means travellers go there and share a table. The food is delicious and cheap. The low breakfast tables mean conversations flow and I've never heard such a level of chatter so early in the day. As an older woman I felt completely at home and loved my 2 bed room with my own bathroom. The riad design is like a block of flats turned inside out, with rooms facing into the communal courtyard, whereas modern apartments face outwards to a view but can be isolating. Anyone staying here is getting the riad experience but at a fraction of the cost. Plus you meet some extraordinary travellers and it felt like going back to a time when strangers started conversations instead of looking at their phones. Hopefully I'll be back!
