An amazing riad! It’s close to everything, yet still a bit hidden so it’s peaceful and away from noise, like a hidden pearl🥰 The place is beautiful and truly gives you a real sense of Morocco. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful. They made it feel like a home away from home! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal and authentic experience in Morocco. The riad itself is full of charm and colour. My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The hostess, Sadia, is so warm and welcoming and makes delicious breakfasts which you can enjoy up on the roof terrace overlooking the sea 🙂

One of the highlights of this riad is without a doubt the rooftop. The view over the sea is absolutely stunning and magical, especially at sunrise and sunset. A very special mention goes to the owner, who is not only an incredibly inspiring host but also a great musician and now a dear friend. “The perfect place to unwind in Essaouira”

The most beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. We couldn't recommend it enough! The photos are great but in reality its SO much nicer! We had breakfast on the terrace every morning and on our last evening we enjoyed a delicious cooked meal by Sadia, the host, that we ate with the owners Dorris and Abdul which made the stay even more special. If I ever return to Essaouira I will be sure to stay here again.

“Perfect location close to all attractions”

Dar Afram is located 2 minutes from the city walls, and close to the souk and port areas. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Being given tea and a map of the city on arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed eating it on the roof top terrace in the sunshine.
